And, over time, as those projects unwound, I became increasingly convinced that the work ethic that I grew up around was dying, if not dead. "We met with Justin and I was very impressed with his professionalism. He said he had done several projects exactly like ours and it seemed easy and we should be able to complete in 8-10 weeks. I have never dealt with a contractor before, but I still knew I should double that estimated time and that was still ok at the time. We met in May of 2023. The project went well for a while. We started in May 2023 and the big stuff got finished in a decent amount of time, but not within the proposed time. Finally, 5 months in to the project, Justin apparently decided he was over it. All communication stopped. There was quite a bit still to do, but I guess he was over it, so we moved on and decided to finish ourselves. I never had a problem as long as there was communication, but Justin is awful at letting people know what is going on with there project. At least he was with mine. He promised things that never happened and never let us know why. I came away with a mostly remodeled basement and some work to do to finish myself, but mostly I am disappointed that Justin/ Legacy could not just do what they said they would or at least tell us why."

Justin is great to work with and goes the extra mile to ensure the customer gets what they want. Unfortunately, the city had easement issues on the build site and wouldn't allow a structure to be built. We had no other suitable location for the garage, so the project was scrapped. This is when I decided Affinity Construction would always have my business. Justin returned my deposit, and went further introducing me to other professionals he trusts to bid on the smaller side projects we were going to do while the garage was being built. The true measure of a quality company is how they react when things turn sideways and how they treat their customers when money is no longer changing hands. 10 stars!!"
