It can also be so clogged and hardened that they are unable to clear it, and he said it was close. It was pricey, around $345, but certainly cheaper than trying to install new plumbing lines. He also gave us a discount. Many companies list a cheaper price for drain clearing, but it can be deceitful, it's just for a very limited service. We were very pleased and would call again.
