"Let me start by saying I seldom write reviews for any company and even less often feel a company deserves the highest rating. However, in this case I do think Maritime Roofing performed over and above what most companies would have done and definitely deserves a 5-star rating. I was naturally concerned about how to best select a roofing company since it isn't possible to observe the work or even evaluate how well it has been done. But I felt reassured by the thoroughness of the initial evaluation/estimate and seeing the drone footage of what needed to be done helped put my mind at ease. Although my initial inquiry was only for a new roof, having the same company paint as well proved to be a great decision. I'd also like to compliment both the roofing crew and the painters. They were all great to work with, neat, timely, kept me informed and went out of their way with extra touches that I wouldn't have even thought to ask about. All-in-all it was an especially good experience."

"STOUT ROOFING just completed my new roof today on our 1100 sf. garage. It's so beautiful I just perched myself where I could stare at it for a while! The crews were amazing - so hard working, proficient, courteous and meticulous in their roofing skills as well as prep and clean up. And they even did needed extra items I hadn't asked for! The roof should have been replaced some 10 years ago and so the crews had to go the extra mile to give me another 30 years with this brand new roof. "DO NOT EVER HIRE THIS COMPANY. 7 years ago they installed metal roofing on our new construction made with SIPS. Our contractor provided manufacturer installation instructions. Early work began fine and their process was signed off by our contractor. Then multiple crews came through, who apparently did not get the message. A metal roof on top of SIPS SHOULD HAVE LASTED 50 YEARS. NOW we're having to replace our roof at a greater cost than out-of-state college tuition. The new roofers are having to scrape rotted OSB from the foam insulation, completely negating the SIPS warranty and littering the neighborhood with the rotten debris. The analysis is that Forever Roofing (1) installed the Tiger Paw sheeting incorrectly and (2) did not bend the top of the metal panels up under the roof peak, both of which allowed water to enter. FURTHERMORE, after letting water in, they blocked off any egress at the bottom of the roof with wood blocks between the staves. Eventually water sat in there for years until the soffits started popping off. One of the Forever Roofing managers came by to take a look at the damage and essentially washed his hands of the business - no integrity for workmanship. RUN AWAY - "Forever" is an utter misnomer."
