"I'm very happy with Star Electric. We originally found them on Angies List to come fix a cut electrical cable for our dishwasher, install some recessed lighting in the kitchen and wire an outlet and HDMI hook up above the fireplace for our tv.  Thus far we has them accomplish the dishwasher repair, and are scheduled for the tv & recessed lighting next week (I'll update the review once they complete that work).  Last night my a/c went out and my house was 85 degrees by 8pm.  I had the a/c guy come out and repair the a/c unit, but the circuit breaker that feed power to the a/c unit was blown and not transferring power.  I called Star Electric at approx. 830pm and got a call back within 5 mins.  About 10 mins there after they were on their way.  They showed up at our house in about 30 mins, fixed the breaker and had the a/c up and running by 940pm.  Overall they're a great, friendly company who have been super flexible with us on projects.  They're professional, on-time, and complete the job they said they were willing to do. I'm very happy with this company and will continue to use them."

New panels in the wood shop, running an underground wire 100 ft. New 200 amp panel for the house. Installed 11 recessed lights. Installed a Italian Murano Glass globe, installed an antique chandelier, installed a stainless steel hood and fan, vented to outside, over the stove, installed 4 ceiling fans,, various new switches, security outdoor lighting, porch light, lighted IKEA medicine cabinet. "Sears' package of services allowed me to worry very little because they coordinated all the trades. Sears has a longstanding reputation for standing behind their products, something I had not found to be true with other contractors I had used in the past. Thecarpenter/job coordinator who did the refacing work was wonderful to work with, making minor modifiations as necessary to fit my needs.  I had not originally intended to purchase new appliances, but Sears offered me such a great discount that I added a new cooktop, double ovens (which required some cabinet modifications), and a dishwasher, which were installed by the carpenter.  He also coordinated the quartz countertop and flooring installations. All of the work Sears did was well done and professional. After the job was completed, I noticed that a door in the den that had to be cut off to accommodate the new flooring was a bit rough, and they sent the carpenter back to fix it within a week. I was somewhat concerned that I would not like the laminate used to reface the wood cabinets, but it has turned out to be very attractive, more durable than wood, and easy to clean.  No one can even find the seams in the quartz countertop or the Congoleum flooring, so I feel that their workmen are very experienced and skilled. I not only would recommend Sears to others, I would use them again for other work."
