"I had to talk with them several times to get the job done right. I wouldn’t hire them again. The price was good. In the end it seems like they did a good job but it just took a lot of haggling to get them to do a complete job. It took some haggling to get them to come back and they did the job twice over. It took a few weeks to get completed. To improve, they should listen to the customer, do the job they agree on with the customer. When they finally got it done, it seemed to be good."

They were Here early & working extremely hard the entire time they were here. I have a 4 year old that wanted to watch them (we stayed out of their way) & they were very nice to him & I! "Maybe they do amazing work, I have no idea. I called 3 times over the course of 2 weeks and submitted requests for estimates twice. I spoke with someone 2 or 3 times on the phone and each time I was either told to go submit a request on the website or that he remembered my note and would go find it and email me with a time to set up an appointment asap. It never went any farther than that. If you are too busy or have other things going on and can't respond, that's totally understandable but please just say so so I don't waste my time. I'm rating a C b/c I'm going on the assumption that SOMETHING was going on that would legitimately explain this otherwise inexcusable behavior."

Kelly was much more competitive in terms of pricing than the others we had out for a quote. Unlike his competitors who install a 4" pour, Kelly's standard process is a 6" pour. He gave his opinion on what would look best, but didn't push any additional services beyond what we were looking for. We were so impressed that we decided to add a front patio to the project. Kelly goes above and beyond in his work. He removed and hauled away rocks along both sides of the driveway and widened the driveway. He also removed and hauled away a basketball hoop at no extra cost. He added dirt and grass seed on both sides of the driveway. Kelly is absolutely meticulous in his work, and his entire crew was professional and friendly. We would highly recommend O'Malley Concrete to anyone without reservation, and he will be our "go to" concrete provider for all future projects. There is no need to look further. Do not hesitate! "Chris and his team were really great to work with. Professional. Good communication from start to finish. Everything was on time. We would definitely work with him again. We are very satisfied with the final result. He was also very reasonably priced. We got three quotes for our job. One came back at 3 times as much as Chris's quote, and the other was almost double. They paid attention to details like taking care to not ruin the yard as they accessed our job site from the road and cleaning up everything when they were done. "As with any seasonal company, get on the schedule early. We had one section of concrete removed, re-grading for run-off to flow away from the house into a rain garden basin they dug, and put down asphalt on a gravel 3 car parking area, with the asphalt butting up against the 110 yr old brick house. This was a tight area to work being at an old house in Minneapolis. This company was the only one to address my drainage needs upfront in a way that made me feel confident that I wouldn't have a pool of water where we previously had an issue. One day the grading crew came out. A few days later the asphalt crew came out. I thought it would all be done in one day, so communication could have been better about this aspect. I did take the time off work on both days to be on site. I'd recommend everyone do this, regardless of contractor, when it comes to this type of work. It's easier to correct things with a crew on site or answer a question they might have about your preference. This is hot, messy work. Advice to homeowners: Provide your crew with cooler full of bottled water and gatorade. It'll go a long way toward establishing good will with guys working **** ** your behalf."
