"They came on the correct day and did the work.  Once they arrived, they called me to say the cost would be an extra $50 because of the square footage.  they were previously cleaned by another company for $100.00.  They left several patches of wet leaves from the gutters on the lawn. <br />"

"Before hiring, specifically asked if they could vacuum instead of sweep wood/tile floors and wipe around all edges/corners where the mop can't clean very well.  Was told they can and will.  Also asked what they would charge for a bi-weekly regular cleaning and was told between $100 and $110.  I didn't want to commit to that until I saw how they cleaned.  Went with the deep cleaning, which was an extra cost, so that I would get kitchen cabinets, appliances, fans, window sills, ledges, around top of walls for spider webs, furniture oiled etc.....done.  They were 15 minutes late on the day of the cleaning, Swept every floor and about two hours into cleaning, lady showed up with vacuum and really just did a half-baked job of it, with one bedroom and part of kitchen/living and missed one bathroom completely.  Pointed out that they missed wiping around all edges of floors, so they were supposed to go back and do it, but only did one bedroom. Didn't clean/oil outside of kitchen cabinets or clean inside appliances, missed some window sills, some spider webs and didn't oil down furniture, just used a duster.  They basically did what I would consider a regular cleaning, there was nothing "deep" about it.  I wasn't impressed and let the owner know.  I paid her the $250 but let her know that I wasn't going to use them for the bi-weekly cleaning.  She apologized and offered to come back and correct anything that was missed and offered a discount but didn't specifically say how much of one.  That impressed me and I decided to give her another chance.  She came back and I showed her everything that was missed.  Her assistant was going to do the job over for free with an estimated time of 5 hours.  I suggested doing a cleaning of the house while her assistant went over everything missed.  She agreed, we set a date she and would let me know a price.  With the previously quoted regular cleaning price of between $100 and $110, I figured I would be charged that price with a discount.  They came back, still missed most edges and part of cabinets, didn't vacuum very well either.  Really not impressed!   To top it off, 10 days after the service, I finally get a bill for an additional $130!  What???  This is how they fixed my complaint?  Not only did they do a mediocre job again, but I get charged more than the quoted price with no discount in site?  A word of advice, If you decide to use them, please get everything in writing before starting and expect a sufficient job but not anything above or beyond. <br />"

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. Granite Gold also provides excellent professional support."

"Jon estimated that it may take 7 or 8 working days for his crew of 3 and scheduled a mutually acceptable start date.  Shortly before that date one of his crew moved up north so in his plce John brought 2 others that he uses for larger jobs.  The crew of 4 showed up on time as planned and completed the job in 5 days instead. <br /> During the job Jon checked with me each day to be aboslutely sure that the job was progressing as I expected.  Because we continued to live in the house during this project, Jon and his crew took great care to plan the stages so that our family of 6 would still have access to every room with minimal interuption.  They made sure that we were not inconvinienced. <br /> At the end of each day they made sure that our living areas were quite clean.  When the job was finished they thoroughly cleaned everything.  They were sure to sweep and mop all of the tile so that there wasn't even any grout residue or grit.  We were able to walk barefoot immediately on these very clean floors. <br /> I also required 1/8" thin grout lines which leaves very little room for error.  Any slight differences show up quickly in larger areas.  The end result is beautiful.  All of the lines are perfectly straight.  All of the transitions are smooth and unnoticeable.  There were no surprises and everything everything went smoothly.  We couldn't be happier.  I am so glad that I took the time to track down this guy who had proven to be so reliable so long ago and is even better today. <br />"

"The ladies called ahead of time to let me know they were on their way. They started right in as soon as they got here. This was a coupon offer, at a huge discount off their normal price. Their website lists all the wonderful things they clean, from floor to ceiling. Before they left, the ladies told me they were done. They did everything I asked, except they left dust and cob-webs on the bottom of furniture, and the bathroom ceiling fan was not even touched, which I did not check. The office called me to ask about the service. I neglected to mention it to them at that time. <br /> The ladies do work hard, and what they do clean is extremely thorough. I would use them again, and watch more closely, if another great coupon offer comes out. Their prices are much too high for leaving things uncleaned the first time through. <br /> <br />"
