"This isnâ t my project but my mom desperately needed work done. She had not updated her home since Hurricane Andrew! She was very resistant to make any changes but stuff was starting to fall apart. She agreed to fix up the kitchen but I wasnâ t going to have enough time to oversee the project and sheâ s divorced. I needed someone that would make her feel comfortable and would work within her budget. I talked to a bunch of other contractors but we just couldnâ t find a good fit. Admittedly we didnâ t know EXACTLY what we needed. I found Ramon through a friend that spoke very highly of him. Ramon was a godsend! I canâ t imagine anyone else would have managed to deal with us. He communicates through texting like a teenager and screams at the client when in fact errors are his fault or his sub-contractors. We provided appliance specs very early in the process and the electrician still made errors for which Ziv wanted us to pay for. The cabinets delivered were incomplete which he blamed on us. He demanded a final payment and threatened to put a lean on our house when the work was incomplete per the contract. Then Subs starting calling demanding payment which was resolved after we provided cashed checks to Sonart Construction. Don’t believe what I say. Read the BBB review complaints for a well-deserved F rating."
