"I was somewhat familiar with the process of localized termite control but I did not know there was a local company doing it until I came into contact with Southern Service Solutions, LLC. I met with Ray and Rene who are the principles of the company any they explained the process in its entirety. What I did not know was that their chemical treatment is more of an attractant or bait more than an immediate insect/termite killer as used in a termite gas tenting process. Their chemical application attracts and baits the termites where ever they are located in your home, soon they feed carry the chemical back to their colony and ultimately poison all to include the queen. The chemical application is long lasting so any other insects/dry wood termites that attempt to return will be exposed and the process of elimination renews. Ray and Rene will drill small 1/8 inch holes in key locations through out the home and inject the chemical into walls, just above base boards or tiles, vigorously spray attic/crawl spaces and any other locations they deem relevant. Within a day of their visit I began to see any swarming termites and even ants within my home affected and lifeless from the chemical exposure. During their visit they even sprayed a more lethal chemical along the exterior perimeter of my home that has definitely made an impact on any insect pests and dry wood termites that continue to swarm and attempt to enter my home. I am very please with the outcome and my cost during their visit. I was able to remain in my home with minimal inconvenience and clean-up. Their process is very much less stressful than the typical termite tenting process if and only your immediate termite situation hasn't gotten out of control and with serious structural damage.
