"I found E Pro Construction while searching the web for business that are local. They came highly recommended but I only needed my macadam driveway sealedà ¢à  à ¦ a little late in the season. John answered the phone when I called and was here the next day, The price he gave was reasonable so I gave him a deposit Thursday and they were here Monday morning to do the work, This is a family company and with their attention to service and clearly communicating with me the customer I would highly recommend them to anyone. In fact next week they are sealing my next door neighbors driveway. My other next door neighbor as well as a neighbor a few doors down are looking at full replacements for their old broken up macadam driveways. One wants to wait until spring and the other is ready to give a deposit, I have managed several properties and buildings and dealt with many different contractors. "My steps from the garage to the laundry room were no longer stable. The bottom two steps were loose and needed to be supported. Marco the owner came over and explained that stringers needed to be installed to support the wood steps in the middle. He explained some options and prices. Picked and agreed on the work. He was able to come over one afternoon and did the job with his assistant. He was very professional and explained what he was doing because I kept asking him questions. Work completed with no issues and very satisfied in the end. I have some other work that I plan on bringing him back for."

"From the initial quote to the finished job, Bill and his crew did fantastic work. They replaced old flashing, and repaired damaged plywood and brick at the base of the chimney. They were prompt, professional and attended to every detail. Bill informed me of damage discovered after the shingles were removed and he and the crew repaired it thoroughly and matched the shingles perfectly. On a very hot day, they even took the time to clean out my gutters and remove some branches and other debris from the roof. "In 2017, we hired Vinny from Direct Call for home exterior work including building a stone patio. They finished our stone patio in late December 2017. Next year, in 2018, as the weather warmed up and we were excited to use our new patio, we noticed that they had done a very poor job. As can be seen in the photos, the patio wall and columns have shifted away from the patio and are continuing to shift further and further apart. We have been contacting Vinny for almost a year now to get the problem fixed. He told us twice, on different occasions, that he would come to fix the patio in a couple of weeks- but never showed up. Now, he no longer responds to our calls or replies to our text messages despite the 5-year warranty on the masonry work that he provided (at our request) at the time of final payment. Their work began falling apart within a few months of completion. The condition of our patio is continuing to deteriorate; the columns are no longer standing upright, but have come to an incline and are ready to fall any day creating a dangerous situation. Vinny does not do quality work or honor his warranty. Our next step will be filing a complaint with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. We will also be talking to a lawyer for legal proceedings."

"Work started to replace the roof which meant removing the cedar shakes. This makes a mess but they were great about protecting the interior and cleaning up. In the course of the roof repair Eric identified the water leak as cracks in the chimney. The entire 98 year old chimney and fireplace were replaced, excellent workmanship. Next on that was replacing the crumbing steps to the side entrance and changing the layout so that you could walk to the back or front of the house. Then a siding job with Hardie Plank cement siding was decided upon. One day into the job Eric discussed the need to change the work to include stripping all the old siding, putting down new plywood, then the siding. Now into winter weather I can say that the previous drafts inside the house during windy weather are no longer present. The house is much more comfortable. The siding work was excellent, the house looks like new. Finally it was recommended to have stone placed below the siding instead of the painted cement wall. That and redoing the patio and walkway with bluestone were done. Masonry work is outstanding. In summary I would definitely recommend this company. Eric has good ideas, is quick to recognize if changes are needed. You can expect quality workmanship done in a timely manner. If you have questions Eric will get back to you quickly. I would like to add that they are very good about clean-up when the job is done."

" I used Grand Home Improvement for interlocking retaining wall blocks for a small garden wall project. The blocks were uniform, easy to stack, and came with helpful instructions. I used a gravel base and a drainage pipe as recommended. The end result looks professional, and the wall has stayed solid after several storms.
