"We had a wonderful experience with Closets of Virginia. We were looking to transform a small nook in the playroom into storage but didn't know exactly what we wanted. Steven came for the consultation, I told him what our needs were, and he had great ideas on what could and could not be done with the space. I trusted his expertise on dimensions and they ended up being perfect. I love that the shelves are adjustable so you don't feel like you are locked into a permanent decision. He gave us our quote very quickly and he was very responsive whenever we reached out. Zack, the installer was extremely professional and had great attention to detail. He noticed that one of the pieces would end up leaving a bit of a gap due to our walls being uneven. He had a new piece cut to be picked up and still completed the job promptly. Would highly recommend working with Closets of Virginia!"

"This is an upgraded review after an initial 2-star grading. Responsive customer service to issues with the purchase itself made all the difference and allowed me to keep an open mind as I continued into the installation process. Overall, other than a few "they could do this better" items, the quality, the accuracy, the value, the helpful support team, and the easy installation of my 7 motorized solar shades all point to 5 stars. We followed the measuring instructions carefully and received shades that fit each space exactly as I expected. Installation itself was easier than traditional shades using the solid brackets they provided. Questions I had during installation were answered promptly through Chat. The remote control was a bit of a challenge, so be patient if you bought a multi-channel one and have lots of shades in your room. And for some reason they don't tell you this, but you must have a remote for your motorized shades. The app alone isn't enough. Our only minor gripe is that determining how solar shades look at night was just a game of inference. It would be very helpful to have an online tool available to create your own scene, which includes shade color, indoor or outdoor, and time of day. Even samples don't help much more. Still, I'll return to them when it's time to take care of other rooms. We did this project for 2 to 3 thousand dollars less than big box store quoted us. It was a cinch."

"<p>We were looking for a place to make some exterior window treated into some decorative solution, as it was exposed to the neighbour’s house. We saw Palace of Glass product at one of our local glass shop on display and got fascinated by this innovative product. We end up doing 3 exterior window in the bathroom and some interior doors with the matching design. Staff was friendly and knowledgeble, the cost turn to be less than the stained glass quotes from the local shops. I would recommend them.</p> <br>"

"Three people working in the back room when I arrived. I was the sole customer in the shop and once acknowledged, stated my interest in being there. The person I dealt with immediately assumed I only wanted a less expensive fabric because she noticed that I came in with a sample book from outside and proceeded to state that they did not carry that brand and only had more expensive fabrics available than what my sample book represented. I replied that my sample book did not represent a price point for me, only some designs that interested me. I was invited to look at their sample books while the person returned to her work in the back room. <br /> I looked at their samples for about 15 minutes and found that they not only had both books from the same fabric company as my sample book, but also fabrics with comparable prices, so I found the comments about my sample book strange and misleading. I then got estimates for 6 different fabrics which were not among their most expensive choices. With labor I thought the prices quoted might be higher than what I may be paying to have it done somewhere else. With that there was no attempt made to discuss this point with me or to do anything beyond provide me with prices. Then she went back to work, did not even thank me for coming in. Really not what I expected from the Angie’s List reviews. <br />"

In less than a week I had a stunning rendition of myself in both pencil and watercolor. Lance is always courteous and professional. I highly recommend his services to everyone and will do business with him again soon!"
