"The company utilized a "pull-and-replace" technique as follows: 1) excavated the water pipe at the house and at the street; cut the water line at those two places; 2) ran an 80 ft. steel cable from the street to the house; 3) attached a "pyramid-knife" to the steel cable and then attached the copper replacement pipe to the pyramid-knife. 4) tractor-pulled the pyramid-knife and copper tubing through the old poly-tube pipe, cutting it as it went and replacing it with the copper pipe in one continuous operation. 5) all excavations restored to original condition at close of the work. Process was ingenious and saved all of my trees from root damage (and potential dying in a couple of years.) No digging trenches. The technician was completely professional, competent and courteous. He explained each step as it went. He was also clearly proud of his work and finished every step with complete attention to detail, thoroughness and professionalism. The job took about six hours to complete and went off without a hitch. I am completely satisfied with the work and recommend this company highly ."

"I contacted Granite Vision and spoke with Roni, explaining that because the vanity was in an awkward place in this small bathroom, I needed help to decide what was required. Joseph and another member came within a couple of days to assess the situation, make recommendations, and take measurements. Joseph then emailed pictures of various granite slabs since I was unable to get to their site, and within a week his team installed the top, offset sink, and my faucet. "I sincerely did not have a problem with the professional service per se, the technician was professional prompt on time, and knew what he was doing. On Dec 9, 2020, it took him about 30 minutes to figure out the problem and found the unit is still under warranty. He ordered the part and told me once the part is received, I will be contacted to schedule replacement. I called the office they did not call me. They were quick in responding and replaced the part on Dec 19. Cost is my main issue. They wanted $119.95 for diagnosis fees which WILL NOT be considered a part of the final repair fees. I believe it’s not a good business not to tell the client beforehand how much you will charge as service fees, they did not. Only after they diagnosed it. After a discussion with the technician, he talked to the office and the service fee was forfeited. The part replacement cost was $403! It took less than 30 minutes, 25 to be exact, to replace. Not sure how the rate of this charge is justified. I was told about the $403 charge right after the first visit but did not have a choice at that point. With all due respect, I understand, as explained to me, they have more overhead budget more than mom and pop shops. I still believe this total repair should not have been more than $250 at the most."

"The project has taken more time than anticipated due to material and subcontractor availability. The framing work was outstanding. Wall board work was also outstanding. Electrical work was very good, but the location of a bathroom fixture and chair lift power plug had to be moved because they were too low. The tile work in the bathroom (shower and floor), computer room (floor), entrance (floor) was outstanding, but I'd rather call it amazing. The plumbing work was very good, but parts availability delayed completion. Finishing work done by MJL was outstanding!!! Anthony is a master at detail. The rigor of MJL inspection of work by the subcontractors was very thorough and when issues were identified were recorded and worked off. Communication and follow up is a big deal for home improvement projects in this challenging environment of material, parts, and workforce shortages. MJL excelled in communication. We rated punctuality as good but would have rated them very good if there was an option. We highly recommend them. We have since booked two additional projects with MJL, a screened in porch and a garage redo. They start in late July. We expect both projects to go very well."

"They came in, said "we can replace the hose, but if the bolt is rusted and goes, you'll need to replace the water heater. " They got the bolt off and saved us a lot of money."

"It was July 3rd when we had the emergency. Mr. Phillip Harris, PNH Maintenance was the first to call after we posted our problem. He arrived shortly thereafter and his crew worked into the evening installing a new water tank and electric outlet in our basement. It was then discovered that our 42 year old water pump was kaput. Mr. Harris promised he would be back the following morning, July 4th, and install a new water pump. True to his word they turned up early and worked half a day to ensure we'd have water for our 4th of July. They unselfishly sacrificed part of their holiday for us, when they should have been spending it with their families. What can I say. They were wonderful. Considering the amount of work and time they put in the cost seemed fair. We're still waiting for warranty info on the water tank. Thank you Mr. Harris and your wonderful workers. "The job went excellently. The two-man team (plumber and helper) arrived about 5-10 minutes BEFORE the 2 hour window provided. We took them to the site of the burst water pipe and they immediately went into action to find the culprits. They perform a fantastic job on two burst pipes quickly, professionally and they cleaned up after themselves. Although they no longer provide their advertised senior or military discounts, their prices were very competitive. We were very pleased with their work and would quickly hire again. BTW, I looked for plumbers on Angie's List and went down the line (from the "A" list) on closest to my location. Modern Plumbing Concepts was the only company that actually said they could come the same day for this emergency operation and am I so glad they did. They introduced me to a superb new company that I would not hesitate to do business with again for normal plumbing jobs."
