"Two guys came and took care of a small project in 30 minutes to an hour. He also said, "What else can I do for you?" I asked him a couple of questions and he said, "Oh, we can do that." So he did some other things that were small, but needed to be done with. He did those and then he said, "Well what else can we do for you?" That was all I could think of. There were two guys. I thought it would be one guy for two hours, but it was two guys that were there a little over an hour. I got done what needed to be done, so I was very pleased. He said, "If you need anything call us back." I didn't have to pay anything more. I had a shelf that was falling in the garage. They did the brace that had broken. So they had to take a lot of heavy boxes off and they replaced that brace and then they also did some other braces to support it. That was actually what I called them out for and they took care of that. The ladder to the garage came down on top of a board that my husband had put there to raise the car up so that it would clear this kerb he had put in. He put in a kerb so that you would know where to stop the car. Then the car couldn't clear the kerb, so he put a board in to raise the car up to clear the kerb. That meant the ladder that came down out of the attic hit that board. My grandson had questioned the strength of the ladder. I had them take out the ladder. It's only good for 200 lbs. That is why a heavy guy might have an issue with it. It wouldn't fit right because of that board. The guy sad, "Well your ladder is fine," and they cut a little square out of the board so that the ladder could go all the way down."

"My husband and I noticed that there was water coming out the side of the kitchen cabinet, and it was leaking into our living room area, which is adjacent to the kitchen, causing a puddle in our carpet. We called another contractor, who could not locate the source of the leak, and who, in my opinion, was too lazy to investigate it enough to actually find the problem. We thought the source of the leak was coming from the dishwasher, so we replaced it. The leak continued. We then thought the source of the leak was the refrigerator, so we replaced that, as well. When that did not solve the problem, I called MLS late that night, and we made an appointment for the next day. The technician arrived promptly at the scheduled time, and was pleasant and polite. He began investigating the leak, and discovered that the source was a pipe in the wall that was behind the kitchen sink! They had to cut into the drywall, and as we moved the furniture out of the way, we discovered that the water had leaked into the carpet about a foot from the wall, and discovered that the bottom of my large bookshelf was completely rotted, as well as my entertainment center, where my TV was located. The technician cut into the wall, made the repair, replaced the drywall, and even hooked up the water line to my new refrigerator, so that I could be able to use the water and ice dispenser. He was also kind enough to install the license plates on my new vehicle for me, as well as the car seat base for my grandson! Because of their commitment to quality work, I now have peace of mind that the leak is fixed, which is priceless to me. They did all this for me in a timely fashion, and the technician stayed until the job was completed, which was well past 10 pm, and never once complained about anything. My husband and I were so impressed with his professionalism and quality of work, we have already recommended MLS to a friend of mine, and would recommend them to anyone that asks. Went under the house found the pipe shook it and said here is the problem. Hr removed a section of the pipe and found the stoppage removed it , repaired pipe and sink workes like new. "For the price that we paid, I feel that we received a good value. The work was done well and in a somewhat timely manner. There was a delay when the painter had to leave town due to illness in the family. This was unavoidable and Roger communicated with us throughout. Roger's employees are true artist. They came up with affordable solutions for some issues that we had. There are a few places that the paint work was a little sloppy, but considering that we paid about 20% less than the next lowest estimate, we can't complain. The reason that we won't use this company again? The valve that supplies water to our dishwasher broke off during a day early on in the remodel. This was no fault of the crew, just an old valve. The problem is that no one told us this had happened. We turned our dishwasher on and left and when we came back, everything inside, including the end of one of the washer "blades" had melted. I called Roger and we agreed that we would pay to fix the valve and he would pay to replace the damaged dishwasher "blade". He advised me that he had ordered the part, which I had researched and knew to cost around $90. Three weeks later, he said that the part still had not come in. I advised him that I would like to withhold the $125 balance for the completed job until the part was installed. He agreed that was fair. It is 2 months later and we never heard back from Roger about the replacement part. Not only has he not called us, but he has ignored the 2 times that I attempted to contact him to ask about the part. This is extremely unprofessional. If not for that one thing, I would definitely hire him in the future. It's a shame that he ended our contact this way.
