I asked for Mark as I've had him out to my home before and he got so much done! "Roger was able to make my front yard beautiful. After 6 years I still get compliments on it. I even awarded a “Most Beautiful Home” award from my City. I had a drain issue that caused mold to grow on my brick walkway. It became very slippery and became quite dangerous. Roger was able to solve the drainage issue. They were on time which is much appreciated. They went into crawlspace and wrote up an estimate. This included: clean the air w/an air scrubber set up outside. Seal all vents, remove debris, clean the mold from the wood. Install 6 mil vapor barrier and a dehumidifier. The cost of this would be $5320 including the Angie's List discount.

This would have been all well and good but the true cause of the moisture was not found. Eventually we found that the shower was leaking and that was what needed to be fixed. Water was coming from the shower floor, overflowing the bladder underneath, leaking into the crawlspace.

Had we spent the $5300 to do what they wanted to do, we still would have had a moisture problem. Two other companies did not find the problem either but they also wanted thousands to seal off. Needless to say, fixing symptoms without fixing the root cause is throwing money away.
