"I had a broken shower valve and no water. Willie was able to quickly take care of the repair and get my water back on. He was prompt, professional and very reasonably priced. He gave me upfront estimates for 2 options. I chose the less expensive option. There was no pressure to upsell me."

"Our well was just completed. JKA Well Drilling of Monroe did an excellent job. Pierce did the initial evaluation. From the drilling, placing the casing, pump, plumbing and electric everything went smoothly. All personnel were a pleasure to deal with. The well is great thanks for everything, happy we chose them for the job."

"With a backed up septic system and family in-bound to stay with us for the week my stress level was through the roof. The first company that evaluated our septic problem quoted over $1200 just to dig up the tank and complete a more complete evaluation! We checked Angie's list and decided on Affordable Septic. Affordable Septic was very helpful on the phone and had a vac truck re-routed to our house with in half an hour. An hour later we had a newly empty septic tank which alowed us to at least use the toilets until the problem could be discovered. Affordable Septic got the required permits the next morning and were digging up the tank by 9am. The crew was very respectful of our yard and performed the most surgical trenching I've ever seen. Our grass top layer was placed neatly to the side for re-use, and the trenches were only as big as needed to locate the pipes. We had discussed possible reasons for the septic backup and were told that 75% of the time the problem is simply broken distribution box/pipes that can crack and fall-in over time. Sure enough, along with a few plugs and a couple roots our distribution box was replaced along with the two crushed concrete distribution lines. Affordable septic also vacuumed out the drain field to ensure there weren't any plugs out of sight. By 4:00 they had completed the work, backfilled the trenches, and replaced the sod. Aside from a bid of dirty grass, and toilets that flush, you'd never know that they'd even been there. The work crew was very friendly and willing to talk us through the process. We are very satisifed with the work and the final price."

"Aquasense crew showed up on time. They effeciently determined the location of the leak and fixed it. They explained that a tree root grew and put pressure on the the irrigation line and caused a crack. I was impressed with how quickly they were able to find and fix the leak without digging up my whole yard. They also tuned up my sprinkler system to get it in tip top shape for the upcoming season. We have been using Aquasense to winterize our irrigation system and test our backflow preventer. They are very professional and get the job done right. I recommend these guys to our friends. Thank you Aquasense !"

"Gary's is amazing. They identified the problem sent a crew out and replaced the drain pipe under concrete in a crawl space. They were timely, professional, accurate and performed outstanding work. Once the pipe was installed they were able to diagnose the remaining pipe (unrelated to the original problem) was pitched improperly. They ran another 25' of pipe at a very reasonable price and quickly. I recommend them and would use them again for all plumbing needs."

"We had our dryer vent cleaned (or so we thought) by another company about 2 months previous to our appointment with A Better Crawl. I am sure the first company we used did not clean the vent because our laundry room started filling with steam and it smelled like the dryer was burning. I found A Better Crawl on Angies List and they had excellent reviews. Melvin came to our home and cleaned what he could reach with his equipment but told me it would require a second visit to clean the vent within the attic. This would require an extra person and he was alone. <br /> We arranged a second appointment and Melvin arrived right on time. He immediately apologized for not being able to complete the job on his first visit. He is professional, friendly and very courteous. This is a fantastic company with excellent follow-through. Everyone I have had contact with has been exceptional. You can tell this is a family owned business that prides itself on customer service with excellence. <br /> I highly recommend A Better Crawl and will be using them in the future to keep our dryer venting properly...just as it does now after their cleaning and repairs. <br />"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Kingston, WA

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
