"Had a great sales experience with Jay Harper. He expertly explained their product options without being aggressive or pushy. I’m looking forward to the new windows in my master bedroom/bathroom."

"It’s the most incredible porch ever. Perfect in every way! Fergal has a real talent for building and a great eye for design. People walk by every day and tell us how beautiful our porch looks. Also he did a major remodel of our bathroom 5 years ago, it’s still the most loved room in our house :)"

Established in 1985 and a 2014 winner of the Super Service Award, Renovations has been the leader of the remodeling, home building, and architect industry in Prescott area since then. The owner, Tom, has many years of experience, working for not only his father’s company, but other remodeling companies, in addition to having his degree in Architecture. He has a range of experience, specializing in architecture, construction, renovations, remodels, and is an active member of his community. Renovations is an award-winning company, receiving awards from Angie’s List (Super Service Award), Quad Cities Business News (Best of Business in Home Refurbishing), Qualified Remodeler Magazine and Remodeling Magazine (Top 500 remodeling companies in the United States for many years), and the 2008 Big 50 Award (for Fine Design). Tom has long fostered the strong connection between design and construction. He originally set up two separate companies to handle each of these aspects of remodeling, but three years ago formally joined them so he could market Renovations as a complete resource for homeowners. By relying on an extensive network of business associates, “There is no aspect of a remodeling project that we cannot help with: material selection, design, construction, financing — you name it, we do it,” he says. Most of Renovations' work is designed by Reilly and another staff architect and is built under the supervision of three project managers. However, the company also builds projects designed by others and designs projects that will be built by other contractors. During the last few years Reilly has added green remodeling to his services. He works with a local company to offer clients energy audits, and then reviews the changes his staff can make so the house will perform better. "High and low spots in my LVP, come to find out there is cardboard boxes from the LVP to hide the high and low spots. They actually used snd glued the cardboard boxes to the foundation and glued LVP down to the foundation. They gave be wrong size blinds and damaged every cabinet. I starting to see more and more corners cut along with my granite that was dropped, chipped and seemed back together. Pictures below"

"It went perfectly. I called and spoke to the office immediately. They came out the next day on a Sunday prepared to give an estimate and complete the job. Everything is done. They performed quality work with quality products, very professional, clean-cut, honest, efficient, fair price. We are very happy and highly recommend them."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Kirkland, AZ

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
