Once the guys came to strip and clean my deck it wasnâ t very long before they (weather permitted) returned to stain and seal it and I love it. My deck is 20 years old and it looks like new. These guys come to your home and get it done. The teams work well together and Iâ m so glad I waited. It looks exactly like I wanted. I found out I had Justin Cody and Justin. These guys went above what they were there to do and did a little something extra for me. I didnâ t know until the next day. In these days and times I was completely surprised and taken aback but mostly grateful and appreciative. "Very well. This was a big job. Rick was the only contractor we spoke to that could both suitably restore metal surfaces prior to painting them and also offer a warranty on his labor and materials. He even offered to re-stain a three-story wooden partition for us at no extra cost. The project took five weeks to complete (quite a bit longer than originally estimated, delayed due to unusually rainy weather), but Rick was in touch each day to let us know if the forecast allowed for work to be performed. Rick was a pleasure to interact with and seemed genuinely conscientious about his work. Patio structure looks great and we’re thrilled to have it restored for many years to come."

"Upon uncovering a leak during a rain, I emailed Maximus Contracting through Angie's List. They were my 3rd email sent but the previous 2 had other things going on and couldn't accommodate the 1-2 day appointment I needed to prevent further leak damage. Eric (Owner) was very responsive and responded to my email quickly. Upon return call, he said he could have someone there that day. Leo arrived and immediately assessed the situation and explained the required repairs to me. Upon his call to Eric and then Eric's call to me to discuss the repair cost, I was very satisfied with the agreed-to price. Eric even had Leo caulk the vent above the garage with no increase in cost. Leo left to get materials and returned in about 20 minutes. The actual repairs took him about 1.5 hours and after cleaning up, he was there for about 3 hours. The weather looked like rain and it did rain that evening and the next day, so I am grateful to Eric for answering my email and acting promptly. I will go back to Maximus General Contracting for any future home repairs.

"I purchased the $499 Deck Restoration Big Deal. Overall, I was not that pleased with it. It took a lot of effort to schedule- lots of messages back and forth. Then they were an hour late on the day he was scheduled to stain. The workers were polite and quality of the work was adequate, but not great. They power-washed on day one and then came back and stained the next day. The worker was on his cell phone as he was staining, which I thought unprofessional. There were certain higher traffic areas that could have used a second coat, or possibly more extensive prep work, but they seemed there simply to stain, not and quot;restoreand quot;, the deck as the name of the big deal indicated.
