"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. "I contracted Preferred Roofing on the recommendation of my HVAC company. I wanted an established company that did their single job expertly; i wanted a company that was valued by other professionals. It's just fact: i will only get the roof replaced once on my house, which is not enough interaction to establish a relationship with a vendor--I needed to rely on an existing relationship. Preferred Roofing was excellent from the first phone call. David is not merely charming, he is 100% invested in being the best--his easy good nature comes from confidence, and that confidence comes from his team. Everyone at Preferred Roofing is a good & courteous worker. They came by a couple times in advance to check requirements and explain the process. They even handled interactions with the HVAC guys. Everyone was straightforward, all communication was clear & concise. The wait list was a few months, which confirmed my choice: I wanted workers that spent their time working. The crew was like a military unit--organized & efficient, and totally autonomous. I stayed out of their way. It took three days, there were no complications and not even any questions. If they had asked questions, i simply would have told them to do whatever was the best solution--the whole team obviously knew roofs more completely than i can imagine. The crew did a remarkable amount of work, and kept the site so clean it was like they were never there. I often describe work that I cannot do as "priceless." Preferred Roofing not only did work i cannot do, hard & messy work, they did work i didn’t even know existed. Maybe I could nail down a sheet of plywood and lay a tile... but i had not even heard of an O’Hagin Vent, and i can’t possibly explain how to “torch a cricket”. I was glad to find professionals, and happy to pay for their work. My house was immediately more comfortable; honestly, the next week was as hot as summer, my house was easily 15 degrees cooler than pattern. The new roof was worth every dollar. David wrapped the project personally, stopping by to review the job and provide paperwork. The final payment stayed exactly on bid. The whole process was a delight and--hahaha--I hope I never see them again!!"

"To start, the requirement to strictly adhere to all manufacturers' specifications and building codes for this re-roofing job was stringent, for I monitored the crew's work from start to finish. Tear-Off: After two weeks delay, the actual work started with SW Roof TearOff removing the old shingles. A little bump here, as there were a lot of old nails sticking out of the roof deck, pieces of tar paper still stuck to the deck, a cracked fascia board (which they quickly blamed the old wood) and a broken vent pipe after they're done. Bad wood replacement: Decent work by Excalibur Roofing crew, but definitely no precision carpentry, because of the crew did not possess precision equipment. Roof shingles installation: New underlayment / peel-n-stick installation was acceptable, again under my supervision. Some sections of the Drip-edge installation had to be re-worked. I had to request careful staging of the shingle rows, as the crew did not initially take into account the out-of-square characteristics of each roof section. The nailing of shingles was just acceptable, as I had the crew remove quite a few nails that were either shot-crooked or too deep into the shingle; in this respect, the crew, although experienced, was rushing the shingle-nailing job with less than perfect nail guns. The installed vents were about 0.75 in. off the pre-cut holes in the plywood; again, something that could have been prevented with a little extra time and care. The trimming of shingles along the rakes was sloppy; the 0.25 in. shingle overhang was in itself a challenge, and yet, the crew had to resort to scissors because of dull cutting blades! The same thing happened to the trimming of the shingles along the valley lines. The crew was very cooperative, but Erik never showed up during any stage of the installation (I guess he was counting on me to take his place). In the end, the finished roof looks pretty good from far away and has been watertight for two years; the actual price paid to Excalibur Roofing Services, Inc was somewhat high, when taking into account the time I had to spend checking each stage of the project. December 2018 Update: I discovered that a Decoridge cap came loose at the eave’s end of the hip ridge, hanging with just one nail (the other nail was shot-crooked and never penetrated the plywood). I then called Excalibur Roofing Services, Inc to request warranty service, only to be told by Mike that the company is currently out-of-business. It does look like this company’s 10-year workmanship warranty for my roof is down the drain; so, I ended up re-nailing the loose cap and seal it myself."

"Had the team from Chandler out after we discovered a water leak during the big series of storms in November. They were able to have Brady come out and take a look in a week, which was great given that I'm sure they were flooded with calls. Brady put together a plan of action to fix the leak, and when it came time for the work to start, they quickly realized that the under layment on our clay tile roof was not consistent throughout the roof as anticipated. Brady immediately called me to keep me in the loop as well as provide his recommendations on the best course of action. The communication and honesty was up front throughout which is certainly something we appreciated. The partial re-roof that we opted for was completed within a week - a far cry from the 5+ weeks that our neighbors experienced with some other company. Brady took the time to explain the materials that were used in the process, as well as they type of under layment options and warranty. After another four days of rain in February, everything looks good and we are dry! Overall very satisfied with their job. While I'm sure there are slightly cheaper roofing contractors out there, I think the overall balancing of price vs quality certainly favors Chandler."

"We had experienced a water leakage into our carpet on the first floor, so I contacted experts of Hometown Restoration and spoke with the owner, who was helpful and answered all of my questions. They made a schedule and arrived at our house on that day. First, they inspected the place nicely and then explained to us the whole process of what they would be going to do. It was excellent advice, so I hired them to fix our floors. They could altogether remove all of the water and dry things out, and we are delighted with the work they did. If you face any issue with fire or water damage or need any help regarding other services, I would highly suggest them. They did an excellent job, and it was a fantastic experience to work with them!"
