His company came in with the lowest estimate, and John was patient in explaining the process, shingle options, along with providing samples and explaining the warranty. These guys do good work, and don't take you to the cleaners along the way. While repairing my roof, 7 sheets of plywood and 122' of 2x4 were needed to replace the damaged areas of my roof. There was no extra charge for the time and material, he replaced this at at his cost, honoring the initial quote he gave me. What a gentleman and a scholar. The workers were courteous and all very hard workers. They arrived on time, cleaning up thoroughly before they left. They were able to knock my roof out in one day and didn't want a penny until it passed final inspection. They even provide a free wind mitigation report for the insurance company. Top notch company. My neighbor was so impressed by how good it looks, and how fast they knocked it out they called him too. I definitely recommend John Scott Roofing, and will use him for all my future needs. "I used this **pro** for a roof repair. The shingles used were not even in the same color-way of my roof. A variegated gray-red does not match the warm light brown of the existing roof. Needless to say, I was shocked and disappointed when I got home. As a *professional* it would have been better to Inform this homeowner that they either could not match the shingles (at all-not even close) or show this homeowner the shingles before they started the job. Now, I will have to pay someone to reroof the patch job with the correct or at least a shingle color thats closer to the rest of my roof. He did an excellent job receiving my money and was equally slick at using COVID and the supply chain as his excuse.."

Their repair estimate was reasonable (other contractors insisted on replacing roof on screen room or house). We hired them and the crew showed up in a few days and repaired the roof. It rained hard since then and no more leaks! When it is time to replace our roof we will be calling Gier Roofing to do the job. We will also be hiring them to install gutter on the screen room as they are only ones who provided a viable solution."
