"<p>Great - called and owner, Kirk,  called back that same day. Explained  what he offered and quoted the above price which is exactly what he charged. Kirk and his assistant Tim came about one week later, arrived promptly, & were very professional.  Cleaned up area when he was finished and installed a great system. We are very, very, pleased. Kirk explained how to work the system and how to maintain it. My husband & I are extremely happy with this new system as the water is really horrible down here.</p> <p>Thank you !!</p> <br />"

"We highly recommend IRRIGATION BY LARRY OWENS, 407-886-6370. He is the best irrigation specialist that has worked on our system. He arrived ahead of schedule and did a very thorough inspection. He noted our low water pressure and suggested that we try the least expensive of several options first. He is extremely knowledgeable and kindly explained what changes need to be made. His charges were very reasonable. When he finished, every sprinkler was working more efficiently. The water coverage was much more even over the entire yard. Peggy, who handles the scheduling, was so accommodating in fitting us into his busy schedule at a time that was perfect for us. We will be calling Larry on a regular basis. We wish all businesses were run like his family-owned business."

"All went fine. Water pressure was low and well pump ran constantly. The pressure reservoir/tank was more full than usual so internal air bladder went bad. That required reservoir/tank to be replaced and I also had technician replace pressure gauge and relay switch. Unfortunately the well pump pressure was also low. So long story short I had the well pump replaced. It was probably about 15 years old or more. Can't say for sure since this rental property was purchased in 2014. The well pump job involved additional components: A new junction box at well head for the electrical connections, replacement wiring from junction box to submerged pump, 3 sections of 20 foot 1 1/4 pipe along with various plumbing fittings and a new pressure release valve. The well pump job and repipe required a special truck with 30 foot (?) crane to pull out the 3 sections of pipe at 20 foot each. It wasn't a cheap job. Tank job was about $800 and another $2000 for well pump job and parts plus about $200 in sales tax. Overall it was $3057. But it was a completely professional job and I'm so glad I have rent money to cover that cost over time."

"Leaving for work one day I entered the garage to find that the hot water tank had started leaking. I did a quick search on Angi's list and found good reviews for GW Plumbing. By 11 that morning he had someone at my house to replace the pump. I was concerned I was going to be without water for the weekend and REALLY appreciated their SUPER FAST response. After the install the service man wrote the invoice and while I thought it was a little high I was just glad to have it done quickly and I could get back to my life. About a week later I got a letter from GW Plumbing with a check from them. They had found a math error on the invoice and WITHOUT me prompting them sent me a refund for the correction. WOW!!!! I was sooo impressed!"

"We were able to get an appointment promptly, and Ian arrived on time. He knew right away what the problem was and explained it in detail to me and patiently repeated same to my husband on the phone. He also explained we did not need as powerful a pump as we had before which will save us money and perform more efficiently. He replaced the pump for the quoted price. He cleaned up after he finished. I have an old irrigation system but do not want to replace it. Ian explained that there are quite a few older systems that he is able to tweak without having to replace the system. When I hire a professional like Ian, who knows his field, and is so honest, and does not try to sell me what I don't need, I am impressed. This is our new irrigation company, and I will be recommending them in our neighborhood news letter and to my friends. <br />"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Lake Monroe, FL

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
