"After a bit of confusion (due to a previous quote from another technician) regarding our deep crawl space, we and Ayers finally made a joint decision on the best system to use. Gage Pederson, the Foreman, did an outstanding job of explaining what they were going to do, kept us totally informed each step of the way, and repeated everything, along with the warranty at the end of the job. We felt free to ask any questions and Gage replied with confidence and quickly. I can’t say enough about this young man’s professionalism. Ayers needs to keep him long term, and putting him in sales earlier than later. He really knows his stuff. He gave us complete confidence that the trenching and encapsulated system will work! Cody Redman and Andy Best were also on the job and did an outstanding job. All three of these guys worked their tails off, not stopping for long. When they left each day, Gage was sure to say what time they would return the next day. They called each day to say they were on their way, and showed up sooner than their expected arrival. "I would (and will) hire Rick again to work on our home improvement needs. Rick handled everything with knowledge, good workmanship, professionalism, caring, etc. He was always on time, always up front about things and very easy to talk to. This was our first venture into a major home improvement, and we had a lot of questions. Rick was always both willing and able to answer our questions. I was due to have our second baby at the beginning of September and Rick knew I wanted this project completed before then - if at all possible. Everything that depended on Rick, was completed. (Things dependent on my husband and I making up our minds - not so much - hence the November completion date.) <br /> We're very happy with our finished basement, with the quality, the aesthetics, etc. For me, when I read these reviews, it always speaks volumes if the homeowner is willing to rehire. As I mentioned above, I would definitely rehire Rick. As I was typing this review, my husband asked what I was doing. I told him I was finally finishing the review for Bay Ridge Development on Angie's List. He was happy I was finally doing this review (yes, I know it's over a year old), but more importantly, he instantly stated that we need to call Rick to start working on....and began listing multiple projects. "It was easier to move in with the floors finished (I didn't have to move furniture around after arriving). It was great that he could work with my schedule. The work in the basement went well and I liked his suggestions about the shower, more lighting, and more heat vents. I plan to spend a lot of time in my basement craft room, so it means a lot to me to have a nice place to work."

"Bruce arrived to start the job on time and is quite methodical, with everything going in the right order. He has the tools to do ANYTHING and completely filled our 2 car garage with tools, materials, cabinets, etc. Since everything was replaced, he had to use skills on so many levels, including dry wall, insulation, flooring, electrical, plumbing, granite work, painting, heating, etc. I think he truly excels at molding/trim work and the cabinet installing. Perfection. An example of true attention to detail: Since they had to cut into our floor joists (beneath the bathroom) to accommodate new drain systems, Bruce took it upon himself to find a local metal fabricator to create steel U-shaped supports so that our floor remained as strong as before. Some people would have left that out.... He wanted things to be correct and often asked for our approval...making any changes we requested along the way. He is approachable. He had a great, professional introduction the first day we met and proposed a budget. Why we did not give Bruce all A's---and if there is any down side---it would be a rather severe minimizing of the total amount of time needed for the project. As a builder, he is hard to fault in that we did stick to our agreed budget and if he was working for weeks beyond the planned completion time...well, it was not costing us any more. I believe Bruce to be a very honest person and understand that any building project has delays. Toward the end, as another project became reality, I believe Bruce lost some focus here. That said, we are happy with our finished bathroom and make a positive recommendation. Your Designs LLC can be trusted. ((I am having trouble porting over pictures...sorry...if I can add them later, I will. For now, I can say I think it looks just as we planned...and this company delivered!))"
