What you will "not" get is the important surface preparation work specified in the estimate. You also will "not" get a good quality paint work. "Had a basement door installed and needed the finish work completed. Kris came and gave us a very reasonable estimate. We contracted Kris and he started our project in a timely manner. He arrived on time with his helper and completed the job in one day. His efforts included finishing the drywall, installing woodwork and painting and staining as necessary. The work performed was outstanding and beyond my expectations. Every detail was exacting and done to perfection. He was very knowledgeable and eager to meet to meet all our needs. I highly recommend him as a true professional who knows his business. I look forward to using his services in the future."

"I had a drywall disaster one Saturday night. I thought the drywall on the affected wall would need to be replaced. As a matter of fact I was told that much by a very knowledgeable person. So I went to angie’s list with the intention to find a drywall installer. MKD was one of the providers i selected. I did that at about 8 pm on that Saturday night. I then turned on my TV to watch a movie not expecting anything till at least Monday morning. In about 3 minutes I got contacted by MKD and after discussing my options, I was happy to learn that all was not lost and that they could do a miracle saving me from installing new drywall - a 2k endeavor. And guess what, they could do it Sunday morning! Wow. Mario showed up exactly on time. He was very patient and friendly throughout the whole proce . He worked for about 7 hours and did an AMAZING job. I also asked him to touch an area in the kitchen that had bothered me and my wife for months. He took care of that too. We were a very happy family that night indeed. Thank you, Mario!! I’m going to use MKD for all my painting and deywall needs!"

"We had Salvador take down our ceiling and insulation in the kitchen and dining room and replace with new. He failed to properly quarantine off the rest of out home and as a result we are 3 days later still cleaning up. He said at the beginning clean up would be done but I guess minimal. He said he didn’t know we would want a deep clean, really? During the renovation I asked him several times that I would help him take down my over the hood microwave but he did it himself and now a have a microwave that doesn’t work and a gas range that has a broken grate and dents. Salvador asked what he could do to make it right and I thought about it o remote. The following morning I looked at my bank account and the check I gave him the following day had been cashed at a currency exchange with in an hour of our previous conversation. When I confronted him about helping the the damaged he said he was not going to. So the long story is don’t make that final payment until you check out all his work. Kevin"
