"After purchasing an Angie's List Deal, I received the measuring kit in the mail promptly. The template and instructions provided to draw my split table top and each of the leaves were easy to use and understand. I mailed the completed materials and received the table pads very quickly. The table splits in the middle to allow insertion of up to 3 additional leaves. The table also has 2 drop leaves. That's 7 pads. All fit perfectly. I have used them on the table for family parties (not every day) and they're durable and built to last. I keep them in the box they arrived in to protect them when not in use. These are a worthwhile investment."

Nancy was very responsive when I called.  I wanted to send out the furniture for repair before we moved, and have it delivered to our new home.  I found her to be very easy to work with, and very knowledgeable.  The company that she uses to pick up and deliver the furniture was so good - I used them to  move my entire house (see Economy Movers, Bohemia, NY). 

Nancy called me at regular intervals to give me a progress report, and ask if I wanted to come down to her shop to see the work in progress - which I gladly did..  She very kindly held onto my furniture for a couple of extra weeks while we waited to have new floors installed in our new home.  She did this for no storage charge - as long as we were paid in full.  This was a big help for us.

My antique cabinet had a broken glass panel. When the glass came in, she was not happy with the way it looked - so she sent it out again to get it just right.  I appreciate her thoroughness. 

When you spend this kind of money you want it done right and with great care - this is how Nancy works.  My furniture has a lot of sentimental  value.  To have someone appreciate it as much as I do - made this a wonderful experience. When you have really good furniture, it is worthwhile to breath new life into it.  My dining room set looks like it did when we were first married.

"It was very worthwhile to use this service because the decorator answered some critical questions and kept me from making costly mistakes.  It is a good place to start and the price was right for what she did.  She spent 30 minutes on the phone talking to me but before that she spent a significant amount of time looking over photos and measurements that I submitted to her by email. She put a lot of time into the consult.  This service would be great for choosing wall colors, flooring, and fabric for furniture.  I will definitely keep her contact information for future projects.

"OJ Woodworking was hired to do what I described above in a rental unit.  Mr. James, OJ Woodworking arrived and immediately got to work. The job ran over (as all jobs do, not my first at the rodeo) but he stayed way into the evening until the job was finished.
The new tenant, "LOVESSSSSS" his apartment, and if he is happy I am delighted, thanks to Mr. James.

"I highly recommend Steve Richards and 7th Heaven to any prospective customer looking for quality furniture upholstery cleaning. I was extremely wary of hiring anyone to clean our furniture and the reason for this is due to the fact that I managed top airline lounges for many years requiring ongoing cleaning of both leather and fabric upholstery as well as carpeting. I was rarely, if ever, satisfied with any company and found most to be lacking once the sale or contract was signed. I did check with Home Advisor and saw that 7th Heaven had received very high marks for professionalism and quality of work. Steve did the job himself, and it is very obvious, that he truly wants the business and from this, returning and satisfied customers. We have two beautiful sofas, down filled, with beautiful pale blue fabric which we purchased after Hurricane Sandy destroyed our first floor. Additionally, we have two lovely wing chairs, colored ivory no less, that sit in front of our fireplace that we use VERY often during the winter. I am well versed in the cleaning method requiring solution sprayed onto fabric, then continual extraction as the dirt 'should' be removed. I am sure that many companies could say that this job we had to do would take 2-3 hours. And I have heard that many companies will spend just about this much time to get the job done..Except the dirt would still be in the cushions. Steve, working on the initial process, saw how thirsty the sofas were for water and thus the cleaning process took far longer than originally planned. He was at our home for 5-6 hours. He explained to me that the quality of the sofas required the additional time to extract the additional water/solution and he was going to continue the process until he was satisfied that the final results would be satisfactory. The results are great. It took a few days for the cushions and pillows on the sofas to dry but they look tremendous. Know that this review has gone on and on, but Steve quoted me the price when I booked the appointment and his additional hours spent were AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Again, he is working to build his business and with this work ethic and quality, he should do very well. I fully expect to hire him for an update next spring. (Our furniture had not been 'cleaned' since we purchased after Sandy, but with no young children or huge pets, still looked pretty darned clean). But I saw the dirt in the water and the difference after the cleaning. Great job, Steve."

"I hired NJM Construction to renovate a newly purchased home in Nutley, New Jersey. The project lasted over 4 months in duration and involved renovating the entire house. This included finishing out the basement with a new family room, gym, sauna, bath, and guest bedroom with full bath. The existing kitchen and three and half baths were demolished and redone. New trim, windows, doors and closets were also installed throughout the original structure. Finally, all the plumbing, heating and air conditioning and electrical systems were replaced. I have extensive experience working with contractors. At my previous home I undertook seven separate remodeling projects ranging from bath and kitchen renovations to the addition of a family room and master suite. Several things made our experience with NJM so good: - Theyâ re a one-stop shop, you get design and build services and they order all the materials. This is highly convenient and allows them to ensure product and service quality. â John is a third generation carpenter, heâ s highly skilled and knowledgeable! John and his entire team are experienced, reliable and service oriented. They proactively made a number of suggestions which improved the final product. Given the project's size and duration we got to know all the key subs very well. The construction foreman, tile guy, plumber and electrician were especially good. They do extremely high quality work and also frequently offered up good suggestions for improvements. Proof of the quality of their work is in the fact that first itâ s Beautiful second is that we passed every single inspection the first time. lastly, they are fair and reasonable. When issues or unexpected costs came up, we were quickly able to get to a solution that left everybody feeling ok about what was happening. NJM Construction Co LLC WAS BY FAR THE BEST CONTRACTOR I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM WITHOUT HESITATION FOR ANY RESIDENTIAL PROJECT"
