"Excellent! There was one challenge, not the responsibility of Mr. Handyman, as the supplier of the paint color I requested provided two gallons of paint for the two coatings to be applied. The first coating was fine but the second coating had some slight defects in color matching. Mr. Handyman determined the supplier had actually mixed two slightly different colors for the two gallons of paint, and Mr. Handyman worked with the supplier to get the second color corrected, then painted an additional coat at no incremental charge for me. All now looks exactly as I had hoped. I was very impressed with Mr. Handyman's services and will use them again for general projects when needed."

"Kevin was very friendly, helpful, and pleasant. However he did not complete the project as discussed. Failed to sand and complete finishing after installing a smaller than quoted piece of sheet rock. Did not remove carpet as bid. It was my first time using home advisor so he took advantage of me not knowing the process. I would not use his service again. It is difficult to do this again but I have posted new projects and read more about the process. He followed none of these steps. I did not get a written contract and he asked for his 50% up front and 50% at conclusion. He asked for the 50 percent conclusion while stating that he would return to sand the area (if needed). I am left with a muddled wall and carpet that I will now have to pay someone else to complete. I am extremely disappointed. I shared this with him via email but have not seen nor heard from him."

He also did some repairs to some trim and a small section of siding in the prep work that look great. What is even more special about his company being a local family owned business is when he needed help from a crew on the big days it was his brothers that joined the project.
