"<p><strong>Finished product</strong></p> <p>The cabinet refacing is beautiful.  Our elderly kitchen looks  brand new.  John,  the technician arrived on time and did a fantastic job within the time promised.  He also left everything clean.  A second technician came out promptly when we noticed a small problem, the kind that frequently comes up with a home improvement project.  </p> <p>Now that we've lived with the new kitchen for two months, we are still very pleased.  Generally, a  very good job.  James, the sales rep, was very professional, and unlike some others, did not try to pressure us into anything.  Ken, the technician who did the measurements, was also professional and made several very good suggestions.  They had a wide range of finishes to chose from,  most of them beautiful wood veneers.</p> <p><strong>Price</strong></p> <p>We got a total of six estimates, and Kitchen Magic's price was about in the middle.  </p> <p><strong>Issues</strong></p> <p>Unfortunately, there were two issues.  </p> <p>First, they did not tell us in advance that the insides of the new drawers would be unfinished wood. The outsides have the same wood veneer as the refaced cabinets, but we had to polyurethane the insides.  This was not a big deal, but a heads up would have been nice.</p> <p>Second, when they moved the refrigerator they left several cracks in our tile floor.  At first they claimed that our old floor was "an accident waiting to happen."  They did not mention this up front, although they knew that the entire kitchen including the floor was over 25 years old.  Interestingly, none of the other five companies who gave us estimates expressed any concerns about the floor.</p> <p>After about a month of negotiations with a rep who was very disagreeable, they offered us what we felt was a fair settlement to have the tile repaired.  </p> <p><strong>Summary</strong></p> <p>The main thing is we love the kitchen and expect it to last for many years.  Kitchen Magic definitely does quality work. We hope this review offers the company some constructive feedback.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"The owners and staff at Carpet and Floors did a tremendous job assisting us in designing a more efficient and beautiful kitchen.  The job entailed tearing out and replacing the existing kitchen cabinets, countertops and flooring, and replacing the fluorescent lighting with recessed lighting,  In addition, their team replaced all of the existing wood flooring on the main level, the stairway and the upstairs landing and gave everything a fresh coat of paint.  They really listened to our needs and helped to create our dream kitchen. The remodel was completed in 2 weeks as promised. We loved the fact that they have their own workers and do not subcontract out. The owners Aref, Barry and Frank would regularly stop by to see how the progress was going, and if we were not completely satisfied with something, they immediately ensured that it was completed to our satisfaction. Their attention to detail and work ethic are superb. We highly recommend you consider them for any remodeling jobs since they are comprehensive remodeling experts. <br />"

"Alex provided much support throughout the entire process of designing the layout and picking out the cabinet manufacturer, door style, and color. We are very happy with the final product and price. We had a couple marks on the cabinets due to the shipping from the manufacturer, but he was very responsive and got it fixed right away. HIGHLY recommend! Would definitely use again for any future projects."

"The service went well. I have no complaints and they did a very nice job. The only thing about refacing is that when you bump things into the cabinets they will scratch. They have held up pretty well over the years, however. The technician was very professional and efficient. I do not remember having any scheduling issues."
