"5 Star removed and replaced the crumbling concrete step and the spalling stoop of our condo building and 80 feet of sinking sidewalk along a heavily trafficked and sloped public way. The work far exceeded expectations. 5 Star was communicative and punctual leading up to the construction day. On the morning of construction day, 5 Star's crew arrived before the scheduled start time to set up and prep the area, so actual work began exactly at the agreed-upon start time. Demolition and removal was precise, quick and thorough. The company president himself supervised the concrete pour and worked onsite until the job was completed, actually doing all of the precision work of constructing concrete stairs and shaping a new sidewalk, with a special eye for grading the sidewalk surface with our irregular terrain. 5 Star used premium materials in the pour. Throughout the day, families and other passersby stopped to watch the work, and it became a small community affair. One retired neighbor, who had worked in construction, sat on a park bench and marveled at the work all day, commenting what a professional team this was. The job was completed by mid-aftgernoon, and cleanup was given as much attention as the construction; except for the "Wet Cement" caution tape, you'd never know so much work had just been done on the site. The four-man crew was friendly, considerate and professional."

"I highly recommend Northscape .John and his crew did a fantastic job redoing my entire backyard, patio and sidewalk. The patio and sidewalk were sloping down about 45 degrees towards my basement after the polar vortex. They removed all of the concrete , raised the dirt, and poured in new concrete. My backyard desperately needed redoing. About 1/3 of it was always flooded after heavy rains. John and his men built a retaining wall on the end of the property to help correct this problem. The yard was also raised and sodded. Everything looks great! This year I plan to have my driveway and sidewalk done along with the front yard. "Hardrock Inc. Francisco & His Father did an absolute great job. They went the extra mile to check border pavers we had seen in the area as well as even visit the sites which we had seen in adjacent towns to try and match the look we were trying to achieve. They worked through a rain storm during the demolition phase of the project, they didn't damage the work site in any significant manner. My driveway concrete had settle at least 6-8 inches near my garage area and in front of my stoop, Francisco said we can build up that area. In fact the original builder didn't place adequate basing so he had underestimated by 1/2 the material cost, but told me; my error and would only charge 1/2 the extra basing material needed to complete the job. They cleaned up and any small detail, like small part of sod grass was damaged, they replaced with new as well as finished work on the mailbox on a Sunday so we could be good to go before the mail showed up on Monday, because they promised. Best Contractor experience I've had, and I have used and talked to many a contractor in my day. Hardrock Inc. best concrete and asphalt paving company I have dealt with plus they gave the best price out of a dozen contractors, as well as the whole crew were polite and courteous and professional, easy to work with and very humble, why can't all contractor experiences be like this, they even refused when I tried to give them a tip because I was so pleased with the finished project, they vehemently protested, but I insisted that they treat the whole crew they said okay, only because it's for their crew!!!! Hardrock Inc., they are the model of a great contractor and business in their industry, better hire them asap if you need paving needs, these guys are going to be really busy!!!!!"
