"It could not have gone better. We recently bought a new place that had very old carpeting covering half the house. Although it is very hard to provide an estimate of refinishing floors when you don't know what is under the carpet, Mike was true to his estimate and his crew completed the job right on time. As with any job, there were some unexpected issues that needed to be addressed. Mike's team, and George in particular, were able to fix the problems (namely, wood HVAC vents and floor molding) at a very reasonable price. The best part of the job was that the master staircase was previously carpeted and was in pretty bad shape. After pulling up the carpet, Mike gave us some options on how to refinish and/or paint the stairs and risers. We had them refinish the stairs and risers (which cost a little extra), but now the stairs are a showpiece in the house. We couldn't be happier with the work that Mike did for us. "EXCELLENT! After sanding through layers of old paint we discovered the floor was maple and not oak. Andrei did a beautiful job restoring the maple and used a clear finish to let the beauty of the wood show through. He also sanded the scratches and old finish from the maple butcher block counter in the kitchen and finished with a clear finish and the counter is marvelous. Highly recommended.
