He re-tiled our bathroom. We bought the tiles and matching grout. He had the morter and spacers- which were factored into his cost. We had a few hiccups with things not fitting right , Serge was very patient, gave us options, and worked to solve the issue. I would definitely hire him for more jobs."

A couple weeks later we had an emergency outside wall that needed a temporary patch job-(a woodpecker had broken through in several spots) Auland covered the holes for us. "Karl and John did great work in removing the rotten shingles, installing flashing, creating a new door for access to the crawl space, removing a replacing joists, removing and replacing sections of the ledger board, repairing rot near our door, etc. . We had others come out who wanted to dismantle our deck to do the repairs. Karl handled this without dismantling the deck and undoubtedly saved us a lot of money. Both Karl and John did a great job."

"I found Rain City Exteriors through James Hardie website and requested an estimate. We wanted to re-sheet the house, replace our sidings with new fiber cement sidings, have the siding painted, and install new gutters, a new front door and few windows. Their price was affordable, beating major competitors like Home Depot and Lowes. We decided to go with them since they had top rated reviews, were a local company (from Kirkland, Wa) and they had their own crews (with clean back ground checks). Make it short, they started the project right on time, and finished it on time on budget. Not only they did not cut corners, they did extra work for us like replacing the rotten fascia. Everyone that we worked with or talked to was very polite and professional, including Jose (owner), Guillermo (sales person) and the crew. "Phil and Kevin did a great job with our siding repair project. Quality of work was great, they communicated well, and were able to help me decide on which areas really needed a repair and others that didnâ t. Their pricing was competitive, and I didnâ t feel like I was pushed into any unnecessary work (unlike some others that came out to evaluate our project). Overall, very satisfied with the work and would hire again. UPDATE: After completion of the work, we had our house painted. Unfortunately, one of the window trim pieces was completely rotten and needed to be replaced. Per our discussion, the entire window trim was supposed to be replaced, but only 1 piece was (the only one with visible damage). Perhaps there was a misunderstanding, but it cost me an extra $120 for our painting team to fix this. The cost of the project was $3275; I rounded up to $3300 then threw in an extra $100 to tip Phil. However, given the new finding, I asked if Phil could adjust the price so I wouldnâ t be stuck paying for a job I thought he had completed. While he did offer to come out at a later time instead, we were unable to do that as our project was already in motion. Phil declined to make the adjustment (which was basically the tip), and I feel for this reason I must adjust my review and remove a star. While the overall work was good, I feel this was a big oversight that would have left my home at risk for water damage had it not been found by the painter, and I think my request for price adjustment was very reasonable given I provided a tip and now had to pay extra."

They were flexible when we decided we also wanted to replace the doors on our house. Mike helped order the doors and even painted them for us. He helped counsel us on materials and design for our siding project. His siding team did a fantastic job. Our house looks amazing. They were respectful, detail oriented, and always took time to do things the right way. Any request was met with a positive, can-do attitude and completed promptly. Perdue was not the lowest quote we received for the work, but they are worth every penny for their workmanship and customer service. It saves money in the long run to have things done right the first time! Their work product and integrity is unmatched."
