"Fantastic. The majority of work was done in 3 days. Unbelievable!!! The plumbing under the house was a really tight squeeze and it was done to perfection. He had to come back twice for the dishwasher because the door wouldn't close. It turned out to be a manufacturer's defect and had nothing to do with him. Great customer service.
When I bought the house, a plumbing nightmare was discovered. Mismatched pipes under the house  with a heat lamp (surprise!) Of course there was no indication of possible plumbing problems from the prior owner. If we hadn't inspected under the house, we would have had a nightmare in the winter. The shower plumbing sprayed water out the backside into a closet. The washer hook up did not have appropriate venting and the dryer vent went into the floor and under the house through nothing but a tinfoil dryer vent. The barn pipes leaked and one had burst during the period of time the house was empty.
I had 3 bids on this job. One was $10,000 with caveats about possible extra charges. One was $6500 with caveats about extra charges. JM Plumbing said both those bids were too high and he would be more than happy to do it for $6200.

"Vortex Plumbing did a great job! It was quite an extensive process. It takes days to re-pipe a whole house and I was expecting to be without running water for a few of those. Baldeep did his best to make our inconvenience as little as possible. He and his crew did as much preparation as possible and only had to turn off our water for about 3 hours during the whole process. Vortex Plumbing is a professional and honest company and I would use them again in the future."

"Overall, the quality of the work was excellent.  However, the issue I had was in regards to communication and responsiveness. I originally submitted a request for info via their website and received no response until I called 3 or 4 days later.  Christopher came out within a day and scoped the work to be done and indicated he would submit a bid within a day or two.  A week later I had to call because I had not received a bid.  The response I received was that Christopher would work it that night.  I did receive a bid the following day.  I received an email indicating when work would start and the worker arrived promptly.  The extent of the water damage was greater than originally thought which increased the scope of work.  I talked to Christopher that day and he explained that he would have to re-bid and would likely schedule the work when a team of people could work the job.  It again took a week before I heard from Christopher again and that was after I called to inquire on status.  We got rescheduled two and a half weeks later (the work separate from the water damage was also pushed out two and a half weeks).  We were told that it was a 3 day job and work commenced on a Monday but didn't finish until the following Tuesday (they don't work weekends and the Monday was a holiday).  During this time, there was a miscommunication on how material was to be purchased as I believed that this was part of the estimate but I ended up having to provide my credit card number to the lumber store to purchase materials.  Although the quality of work was excellent, I don't plan on using Christopher and Company again due to the numerous issues I had with communication and their overall responsiveness.

"I called San Diego Water Damage & Remediation Services immediately after realizing that overnight, our kitchen had suffered from a flood of nearly biblical proportions. A water line had sprung a leak in the ice maker, dumping a large volume of water on the floor, under the cabinets, into the wall, everything was just soaked. I was pleased to get an immediate answer on the phone when I called San Diego Water Damage & Remediation Services. They quickly calmed me down, and had a specialist in my home within an hour. I was surprised to see how quickly they were able to assess the damage and get started drying things out. I was also surprised that the owner of the company, Rafael arrived at my home a few hours later to personally check on the progress of the job. Rafael checked in almost daily to make sure things were progressing smoothly, which I really appreciated! After several hours of clean-up, and thankfully finding no mold, the team had installed an array of specialized drying equipment, including one specially designed for hardwood floors. I was very concerned that the flooring would have to be replaced, driving up the cost. Fortunately that was no problem! After several days my floors, walls, and cabinets were *completely* dry. I've been through water remediations in the past and I've never seen a more thorough or complete job. These folks use these amazing IR cameras and water sensors to literally pinpoint the spots that are still the tiniest bit damp and reposition the equipment in just the right spots to dry them out. When they left I was totally confident that my house was completely dry! Overall I was extremely impressed with the professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication to customer service that the entire San Diego Water Damage & Remediation Service team provided.
