"Edit: After seeing my review, SavOn sent a team to come back and fix all of the issues. The window has been sealed, the trim has been properly attached, and the areas have been repainted. We are now 100% happy with the results. We needed some pieces of siding repaired or replaced. After reviewing several bids, we went with Sav On. They came by a few days later on 8/25 and tore out the old siding and wood, leaving the remnants next to the side of the house. After they took it down, they went around to try to find it at a local retailer. It had to be special ordered. On 8/31, they were back they were back to install the siding. They only did the section by our bathroom window and were here for a max of 2 hours. Siding around and under the guest bathroom window was removed and replaced on 9/1. We could hear the nail gun going off and were glad that the plastic would be removed. A light bulb in bathroom was broken due to vibrations from the nail gun. When I heard the glass break, I ran upstairs and the guy installing was surprised to see me. The window had been removed for some reason that I still don't understand. He didn't think anyone was home, but he did apologize for the lightbulb. When it was quiet for an extended period, I went back upstairs to see if the window had been replaced. That is when I noticed that it was set incorrectly, very off center, and one of the glass panels was cracked. The window sill was extremely dirty and there was chipped paint everywhere. There was also a nail protruding from the top of the window. I sent an email to Ivan telling him this was completely unacceptable. On 9/2, a crew showed up to do the texturing, I told them not to do anything before Ivan came to see the damage. He showed up a few minutes later to inspect and said they would take care of it. A guy from their fix-it crew called me the following day to schedule a time to come take a look at what they needed to do to make it better. They showed up on 9/4 to reset the window, remove the nail, seal, and paint the sill. Taylor called to say someone would be over on Friday 9/11 to do an estimate for the glass. That guy came and went in just a few minutes, which was nice, but we were still in limbo about what was next. Taylor called me on 9/15 saying that the glass would be replaced on the 16th. The tech came and went pretty quickly and we had a fresh panel of glass. I got up the following Saturday, 9/19, and heard commotion outside the bathroom window. A team had stopped by to do the texturing. We are now a month and a day out from when the estimate was signed. 9/21, Ivan called asking if we had any paint that matched. We had told him twice already that we did not have any. They came by, got a sample from the removed pieces, and were back later that day to paint. 9/22, we received a notice from our HOA regarding construction garbage next to our house. I sent yet another email to Ivan asking that they please remove it all. He returned with another guy 9/23 to remove all the junk and do some touch up painting. When they thought they were done, Ivan said to me, It looks pretty good, does it not?* I asked him about all the staples from the plastic sheeting that were still in the accent wood. He looked to the guy standing next to him and asked why there were so many. Anyway, they said they would remove them. I also pointed out all the visible holes from where the nails were put in, he said they would take care of those. They only took care of the ones that can be seen from the front of the house. The staples were removed and we can not really see where they were, holes are still visible on the left and right sides of accent wood, and on the framing by the roof where they replaced the vertical pieces. Paint is streaking and wood is not flush to the house. Buyer Beware."

"Everything was done to perfection.
And the Black ink he removed has zero trace and did not harm color or fabric texture, this took lots of time and patience but he saved my expensive sofa.
The new Urine treatment was also excellent.. No urine smells or coloring change was the result
Jason is a perfectionist and personable, am very shocked I am the first reviewer.  - Today he is coming to do the inside leather cleaning and conditioning as well as the carpets with his powerful steam machine.  Sp there will be another review for me to write soon.

"Bryan (the owner) came to my home within assigned time frame both for the estimates and actual installation. He and his crew were professional, polite, cleaned work areas, and careful of other areas of my home. Bryan was always available by phone/txt. His pricing is very fair, was accommodating and did extras for me at the last minute. All counters were demo'ed and installed in one day.
I was so impressed that I got an estimate for carpet/pad and hired Bryan for that too. (I did get estimates from other companies for granite and carpet) The carpet crew came moved all furniture from rooms, pulled old, installed the new carpet/padding, and replaced the furniture all in one day. My home has been updated, upgraded and wonderfully transformed!
Another gratifying plus(?) as it was done, this transformation made me deep clean/declutter closets, corners, cabinets, shelving, etc. that I had on my to do list for lets just say a long time. So yes, a true transformation that has me smiling and proud.
Thank you Bryan!

"Tom Cohen and Joe Sapir were great. They went through the possibilities and options with us, including what we could do with our budget and possibilities for financing. We bought our house as part of a repossessed hillside property, and we had to buy it in "as is" condition with decades of deferred maintenance. We had chipped away at fixing up the interiors over the past ten years, and were ready for a major (and long overdue) overhaul of the exteriors. The house is 1,200 square feet, but the garage is basically two stories with the living area on the third floor. That means a lot of stucco to repair and a lot of surface to paint. We needed new windows to replace the 50-year old ones that were original with the house, along with a new front door and sliding glass door in the back. This included expanding the size of the windows so that they were bigger (and actually up to code). The insulation in the attic was very old and needed to be replaced as well. Our garage door was dented (by a previous owner) and needed to be replaced along with the motor. Our back porch was falling apart, and we needed that repaired and painted. Our back yard had little privacy and was too hot to spend much time in for most of the year, so we also had them put in a large alumawood patio cover that extends over the porch and most of the yard (to the edge of our garden). It was important to us not to just pick a "low bid" contractor and instead to get a company that would do the work with high-quality materials and skilled crews with proper insurance and quality guarantees. We wanted this to be the last major overhaul we have to do on the exteriors of this house. The crews that came to do all of the work were very skilled, and worked with us to make sure they were doing exactly the work we wanted. Each phase of the project went quickly and efficiently, with prompt inspections and "touch-ups" afterwards to make sure everything was done well. Tom and Joe were very responsive and communicated well with us throughout the projects. We are very happy with the work, and we got our money's worth."

"Throughout the years, I have worked with many contractors, most of which disappointed in some shape or form. In contrast, Tom and Lucas were a complete pleasure to work with. They were always on time, always did what they said they would do (and more sometimes). Whenever I had questions they were always available and ready to help. They soon gained my trust and confidence that they could finish the job to my utmost satisfaction, which meant that I could actually relax and have fun during the process. And whenever I did have extra requests, they were always happy to make it work for me. I will definitely hire them again if I ever need more work done in my home."

"I called and spoke to Grace she was very friendly and scheduled Luis to give me a free estimate. Luis came and explained what could be done and the cost estimate of $800.00. This was the best cost estimate that I had received from all of the 7 companies I contacted. I went ahead and scheduled the work and everything went as planned. The end result was good and the price was exactly what Luis quoted... $800.00. I feel I made a good choice with this company. My only complaint if I can even call it that, is I received a courtesy call from Ava at Dry Master and she asked if I had anyone to do the repair work post remediation and if not, Dry Master could suggest something. But I never got any information from them after the job was completed. Overall, everything else was good."

FAQs for carpet repair, refasten, or stretch projects in Landers, CA

Removing a rug costs around $0.40 to $0.50 per square foot. This includes the fee for a contractor to roll up the rug and haul it away in a vehicle for disposal or recycling. If they need to move furniture, they might charge an additional $0.25 to $0.30 per square foot of furniture.

If your carpet has minor damage—like a single area that requires stretching, patching, or cleaning—it might be less expensive to pay for carpet repair than remove and replace it. Repairing carpet costs around $210 per project.

The cost of carpet cleaning is about $190 for a three-bedroom home, so it’s a good idea to have your carpet cleaned at least once a year. But most carpeting only lasts 10 years. If your carpet is nearing the end of its life span, it might be more cost-effective to remove and replace your carpet than to clean and repair it. The average cost to install a new carpet is about $1,800.

Search our directory of carpet removal companies and services to find an affordable, screened contractor near you. All HomeAdvisor listings are vetted, reviewed, and rated by homeowners, so you can be sure to find a local pro qualified for your project. Get at least three quotes to compare prices and the timeline for your project.

Commercial carpet removal usually costs on the lower end of the carpet removal price range, around $1.10 per square foot or even less. Carpet installation contractors often offer discounted rates for larger projects, like commercial carpet removal and installation. Similarly, you might be able to negotiate a lower residential carpet removal cost if the carpet is pulled up throughout your entire home.

Most cities accept old carpets as bulk trash, but you may need to schedule a special pickup and prepare the carpet properly. Remove any nails or glue residue, cut the carpet into manageable pieces, and roll and secure them. Alternatively, you can take your old carpet to a local recycling center for a small fee, where it can be processed and repurposed.

Yes, you can remove carpet yourself if you're ready for a labor-intensive task. DIY carpet removal requires heavy lifting and tools like utility knives, pliers, and pry bars. The process is generally straightforward but time-consuming for stapled-down carpet. If your carpet is glued down or you're worried about damaging the subfloor, hiring a professional is best to ensure the job is done safely and efficiently.
