"We were introduced to Nick by another trusted friend and contractor. Nick was one of 3 carpenters/contractors that we had bid the job, and from the start, he built trust and credibility. After seeing pictures of his work, reading others reviews, and going on "gut," we hired Nick for a rather challenging and unique project (large built in book shelf that we wanted to appear as part of the original 30 year old log home), along with a list of other jobs that are probably more typical (new solid wood interior doors, plant flooring in a basement, tongue and grove ceilings with sound proofing and can lighting, and misc. trim work). Nick and his team were timely, responsible, clean, truthful, and their finished work is outstanding, and this is coming from someone who is a VERY picky person when it comes to carpentry and my expectations from a finished product. I am thankful to have been introduced to Nick, and we plan to use his team again!"

"We had a load-bearing wall removed between living room and den, added window in living room, expanded existing opening from kitchen to den, removed closet in kitchen and installed new door to screen porch. The wall removed involved plumbing and electrical. I was very explicit about what I wanted done. Matt added his valued input and provided a detailed scope of work. All work was done in a neat, professional manner and all employees were hard working, well trained, diligent and just nice people to have work in your home. "Although the water intrusion has stopped, which I give them full credit for, I was very disappointed in the finishing of the job. The pipe that takes the water from the house, was about 150 feet in length and went across the front yard, under the sidewalk and down towards the street. When they had finished the installation, friends remarked to me that the pipe was sitting above grade and looked like a long lump in the yard. When I contacted and spoke to John about it, he assured me that it would settle down and become level in a few weeks. So I waited, and waited and some of it went down, but there are still long sections that are not level with the yard, and looks like an obvious repair. I have called him and emailed several times and told him that if it were not fixed by end of last year that I would let others know via this review. I had thought of holding money back, but really liked and trusted him, so I did not. Now I wish I had. It's too bad. If he had just been professional enough to finish and do what he said, I would have given him a very good review.
