"Ignacio and Southline did a great job installing a new roof on my house. He was easy to work with and upfront and the roof was put on in 1 day which was great. There were no hidden costs and the price was good and fair. It is wonderful when you can work with someone who does what they say they are going to do. I would definitely use them again on another roof job and highly recommend."

"I interviewed three roofing companies recommended by Home Advisor. While Hixon's was not the lowest bid, they were by far the most professional and left me with minimal questions about what they were providing, warranties, cleanup, etc. We were very pleased with the installation and especially the post installation cleanup of our yard. We highly recommend them!!!"

"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"I just had a new roof put on my house 2 years ago and I noticed a couple spots in the ceiling where it had been leaking.
Steve came out and went in the attic and found the problem right away. He and his crew went to work that afternoon and replaced the rotten plywood and fixed the shingles. I have not had a problem with it since then. Very professional and polite.
I would highly recommend this company for any job!

"First two appointments for an estimate were missed completely although he did call a few minutes before to say he was not going to make the appointment.. Individual was 30 minutes late for the third appointment.
The estimate request was for just the roof. During the visit, he discussed covering  the eves and soffits at the same time and I requested he provide a separate estimete for this work. The estimate was received in a timely manner with both the roof and soffit jobs quoted individually and then together with a significant discount.  I elected to have both jobs done due to the price discount and the work really needed to be done. The house was built in 1947 and was desperately in need of roof maintenance and rotten wood replacement.
Once the approval was given for Accubuilt to perform the work, the work was scheduled. The workers arrived as schedule and completed the entire job in about 2 days. The work was supervised by Accubuilt and a professional job was done. The work crew cleaned up after the job was done very well.
After the work was done, I found that that the eve mounted flood light fixture no longer worked. This was fixture was moved due to the soffit work.  One of the 2 light sockets had been broken proir to the work (by me) so Accubuilt offered to fix/replace the fixture the next week  if i provided a new one. I purchased the replacement and left it on my outside porch.  Several weeks went by without Accubuilt returning. I received a call from them stating they had forgotten about the work but just found it in their notes and they would be there within a few days to mount the new fixture. Again they did not return to do the work. A few weeks later, I got another call with profuse apologies from them that they had again not returned to do the work.  They promised to return within the week to complete the work. That was two weeks ago and they have not returned to do the work.
Overall, because of the excellent work on the roof and soffits, I would give their rating a 'A'. However, for the inconvenience
caused by the lack of punctuality (rated 'D') of the estimate appointments  and the lack of keeping their word on fixing the light fixture repeatedly (Professionalism rated 'B") , I rate my overall experience a 'B'.
I would, however, use Accubuilt again and recommend Accubuilt to others.

FAQs for metal roofing installation and replacement projects in Lane, SC

Copper roofs can last 100 years or more, so you’re likely never to need another replacement. Regular maintenance, including annual inspections and occasional cleaning, keeps them in top shape. Work with a licensed roofer for any repairs or inspections to be sure the roof stays watertight and performs as expected.

Cleaning a copper roof averages $460, sealing costs an average of $3 per square foot, and broader repairs cost an average of $6,500.While those figures may seem steep compared to simple maintenance, they’re still far less than the cost of a complete replacement. Staying on top of annual cleanings and quick fixes helps keep costs down and allows the roof to reach its 100-year lifespan.

That green hue is a natural patina that forms as copper reacts with air and moisture. In coastal areas, it can appear in five to seven years; in dry regions, it may take up to 14. The patina shields the copper, so letting it develop is perfectly fine. If you prefer the shiny look, you can have a pro apply a clear sealant and recoat it as needed.

You can paint a copper roof, but it will block the natural patina and may shorten the roof’s lifespan. Once paint goes on, future upkeep becomes more involved—you’ll need to scrape and repaint every few years. Most homeowners skip painting and opt for cleaning or a clear sealant to keep the copper looking its best.

Copper holds up well in nearly every climate. In a humid region, it naturally resists fungus, moss, and algae. In snowy or windy areas, it sheds precipitation and stays firmly in place, as long as it’s installed with room to expand and contract. That flexibility helps the roof stay leak-free through temperature swings and harsh weather year after year.
