"We hired Juan to installed new subway backsplash and remove old peel & stick backsplash from kitchen. Juan mentioned he was a little busy but will be able to take the job on and complete it on a timely manner. Juan installed the backsplash on a Friday evening after 4pm and worked until about 10pm to get the backsplash completed. Juan returned on Sunday after noon to complete the tile work after allowing mortar to dry. However, the issue was Juan did not wipe up access mortal and/or cleaned off the tile. Juan left drops of mortal on our floors (which we had just cleaned from Stanley Steamer). Juan left a few pieces opened-no tile is in those cracks. Juan left the tile backsplash with streaks from the sponge. And Juan did not apply border of caulking to the edges. Juan left tile with streaks and clumps of mortal around our cabinets, on tile and on the wall. After discussing these concerns with Juan he mentioned I was criticizing his work and his integrity. Juan mentioned he has not had a dissatisfied customer who have complained about his work. I mentioned to Juan my OCD kicked in and when we hire someone to do the work the expectation is to complete the work to customers satisfaction and clean up after you have completed your task for the day! Juan mentioned he will return to ensure we are satisfied and complete the work and neither less to say I received a text from Juan stating he will return $100 off the bill that was paid to us and he does not want to work for us! Bad customer services and not acceptable for any customer Very Disappointed"

"Fair. PRO- the company did reduce some of the overall cost, ad most of the final work looked good. CON-The first technician clearly didn't know what he was doing, and made a terrible mess - plaster on wall, cabinets, sink, stairs -despite me personally covering everything in plastic sheeting ahead of time. I had to hand-scrub the joint compound off the hardwood flooring, cabinets and tile grout up and down the stairs. He was nice, but very inexperienced. We had to complain and insist that a different tech be sent out. The second tech was considerably better, and had to redo almost all of what the first guy tried to do. Even then there were problems - holes for cover plates were cut incorrectly and in the wrong location despite my measuring and clearly marking the locations; there was a lot of plaster dust in the floor tile grout because the 2nd tech never used the plastic sheeting to cover the work area, and I had to recut some holes for other fittings myself."
