"Old Fort Roofing was fantastic from start to finish. Time and care was taken to ensure we understood what would be happening and why and how. When it came time to remove the old roof and install the new, the old roof and gutters were removed and the new roof installed in one day. The gutters were replaced with new within a week. There was one instance where the siding was damaged, but that was easily replaced and looks fantastic. Scott realized that the color we had originally chosen for the roof was not what was installed. Scott surprised us with confirmation that the wrong color roof had been installed. He was incredibly apologetic and offered a couple of solutions. We were happy to keep the roof as it was installed and Scott gave us a discount due to the mistake. Overall, Old Fort Roofing ensured our interaction with them and our roof replacement was as effortless as possible. They are an amazing company with wonderful customer service! "October 2014 contacted Gonzalez Home Improvement & Construction one day and they were out two days later to pull out chain link fencing and hauled it all away and cleaned up.  Set a date to deliver dirt to fill in deep holes in the yard where an excavator had hooked up from house to street sewer (and refused to fix their mess).  Gonzalez delivered the dirt and spread it. They did a great job!   Owner and workers were very polite on each visit. Will use them again. <br />"

"It went very smoothly.  He is very honest.  We new the furnace is old, he said that "these girls don't last forever." He did the work all within one day."

"One screw type pier installed. 2 workers hand dug hole below bottom of foundation. Cleaned out under foundation for platform. Although foundation was deeper than I thought, the hole was done much better and quicker than I envisioned. Pier was screwed at bottom of hole with a hydraulic motor. Once limit on hydraulic pressure was reached, the pier was cut at proper level, platform installed, and cracked section of foundation was raised with a hydraulic jack. Crack in stonework closed up nicely without going too far and creating additional cracks. Workers had 5 and 15 years experience doing this work. Very professional and did a very nice job every step of the way. Note that I (homeowner) chose to move and reinstall landscaping stones and gutter drain. Also, tuckpointing/repairing the cracks was not included in the quote. I plan to do that myself at a later date."

Since I had such a small order, they even agreed to unload the stone by hand at my home, to prevent breakage - which was very much appreciated. Above and beyond!"

"The basement remodeling project went much slower than promised, and resulted in multiple change orders for the original scope of work to be delivered, due to missing items in the original estimate. Project was scheduled for 6 weeks, but took 6 months. Quality issues during construction were associated with drywall and carpeting. Drywall issues were fixed prior to project closeout, carpeting installation issues were not corrected. Remediation work was satisfactory. We discovered a leak in our sump line, which they repaired and applied spray on affected framing. We also had an issue with our previously installed ejector pump failing. They did a good job cleaning up the damaged carpeting, trim and drywall with minimal damage. We did not re-engage them for the finish repairs after the remediation."
