"I purchased an Angie's Deal for a roof inspection.  After a couple of weeks I had to call regarding status and was told he was swamped with calls from the deal so I gave him a break.  After a couple of more weeks I had to call again.  Finally a couple of guys came out late in the afternoon to inspect the roof.  They move a tile back into place and caulked a couple of cracked tiles.

Then they told my husband that for $75 we could prepay a service charge at a future date. So he did that because that was a good buy. Last week, we had them come back to do a service on the air conditioning. Because it's prior to summer time and now that we've moved out, we wanted to make sure that everything was fine. So they went through everything and said everything was fine and then when they were ready to leave they said, "Oh, yeah. This part is not working efficiently. If you don't replace it, the motor will die out." We had prepaid $75. This part was $140. Because I'm in a position where I can't do anything about it and I want to make sure that my motor doesn't burn out I said, "Sure. Put it in." But, I kept the old part and when I have an opportunity, I'm going to check it out to make sure that it was deficient. I want to make sure that they did put in a new one. At this point I'm very suspicious. I hate this bait and switch. I'm not sure whether to trust them or not. I felt like I was bait and switched."
