"The backstory: We purchased our house as a short sale 2 years ago.  During the inspection, we were informed that there were approximately $1800 of fascia repairs needed.  In Feb of 2013, we hired a handyman (not Rick) on a friend's recommendation to complete the repairs as well as repaint our driveway.  Well, the "repairs" which I was assured were complete just didn't last.   We watched freshly our painted fascia (and driveway, but that's another story) begin to chip and peel almost immediately, and get progressively worse over the course of a year and a half to the point where it was a complete eyesore.
The happy ending:  We decided to try a different route and find our handyman on Angie's List.  We called Rick at Handyman Service by TCS in early September.  He returned our call right away, and set up a time to come take a look at what we needed.  My wife works from home, so it was easy to get the repairs scheduled, but it can be a little nerve wracking to know strange men will be working around the house with my wife home alone.  We were immediately put at ease when we met Rick.  You could tell that he is just a really nice guy.  Rick and his employee Johan worked dilligently over 2 separate days to repair what could be repaired, and also to replace some very rotted (should have been replaced by the first guy!) fascia at a very high (scaffolding needed) peak of the house.  They also purchased some paint match paint to ensure the front of our house was even and beautiful.  They covered the 3 P's - prompt, polite and professional.  And the fact that they were way under the estimate from our inspection was the icing on the cake.  We will not hesitate to call Handyman by TCS again, and highly recommend them to our family and friends.
