"Sod went in well and so did planting and mulching. Loam and overseeding was spotty. One area was done well and came in nicely but the bulk of the seeding was very light and patchy. Putting the same amount of seed consistently across all the new loam would have made for a much better end result. The new loam with minimal seed now just looks like larger patches than when we started the project. Also the mulch delivery truck left three large light color scrape marks in my new driveway. Accidents happen but no one acknowledged and/or apologized. Contacted Elder about looking at the seeding issue and he said he would stop by to which he no showed. Tried to contact a couple more times and he just ignored me. He seems like a good enough guy but depending on your project YMMV. For the money spent, I would not recommend to someone else."

I contacted Decked Out Design to build a new deck.  Scott from Decked Out Design contacted me, set up an appointment for a visit to discuss my deck project.  Scott arrived on time for our appointment, we discussed my ideas of floor material and railings, Scott entered all the information into his program and showed me a deck design including a gate to keep my dogs safely on the deck.  It was exactly what I had envisioned the deck would look like, great job Scott. 
Next step was for his builder to contact me to visit the site and set a start date. Jim (the builder) contacted me and came out to go over the details of the deck project and set a date.  Jim and his crew arrived as scheduled, on time and ready to tackle the demolition of my old deck and ready to give me a new deck. 
Jim and his crew displayed professional workmanship and had the utmost respect for my property.  Jim informed me daily on the progress of the deck, and kept Scott updated as well.  Jim went over some ideas he had for the gate, he proposed a self closing gate so the dogs would not follow me off the deck.  Turned out to be great and exactly what I needed.  The project was always on tract as it was outlined from the beginning and completed as promised.
