"Before moving out of state, I hired Vinyl Sharks LLC to do a remodel of my basement. Justin and his crew of extremely knowledgeable guys came in and got it done! I did get photos of the job they did, but lost my Camera during my move to New Jersey. If I could hire then here at my new house, I would with no hesitation, and with no worries about the quality of work being done. Stop wasting your time looking for guys to get the job done, because Vinyl Sharks LLC are THE ones. "

"It was a big build. Coordination of trades was important. Their work to navigate permits with multiple government agencies kept the project on track and on budget. . It's drawn a lot of neighborhood attention. One of the goals was to make this large shop fit into the neighborhood. Job well done. "

"We looked at several systems and felt the quality and the customization of their's was the best. He had better ideas than the other companies. They went to a home show and then ended up getting all these other jobs, but he was able to work us in pretty quickly."

"initially (1st phase) great customer service and response, when we brought them back for the remainder of the windows the following year we had installation problems where we had to have them back 3 times to get it right. The salesman never followed up to see how/if we were satisfied. Overall this left a poor taste in our mouths regarding this service provider. I would not recommend them.

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Lawrence, MI

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
