"We used Northland Coating this year to seal coat our basement floor. It will last for decades. It all started when we had some basement flooding and then decided to use Luxury Vinyl Plank on our basement floor. We purchased the flooring (special order so it couldn't be returned) and then started tearing up carpeting and pad. What a disaster. Whoever glued the pad down must have danced across the floor with glue. Circular patterns, waves and open areas - no logic. The pad was a nightmare to get up, especially where they just seemed to pool the glue. But that wasn't the worst part. The floor was so uneven with lots of valleys and a really high spot in the middle. We couldn't lay the flooring on that. So we rented a grinder and tried to even out a lot of it. It was too much variance. I started calling places to level the floor with fill. Either they were booked out for 6-8 weeks or one company wanted $6000. Everyone else was $2400 - $3000. Then I obtained two quotes for sealing the floor instead. One of the companies we previously had done business with came in at almost double the price of Northland. Plus they wanted to speak to my husband too. Seriously, if I am paying why should you need to speak to anyone else? Northland was great. Justin came out and quoted our project. We were originally going to have most of the basement coated in 2 phases since we had very large items that couldn't be moved out (a piano was one of them). There was one area we were going to leave carpeted but ultimately we had the basement done in 3 phases. Scheduling was easy. It is a messy project as they do some additional grinding. They try to keep the dust to a minimum but it is dust and gets around. Justin gave me a link to the supply company and I was able to pick a custom mixed color for our floor. You can choose from many colors or design your own. You can also choose the flake size. The supply company also had a tool where you could upload your photo and show the floor color in that space. It was easy. Choose some texture in the floor or it will be slippery. The floor looks great. I even have the piano metal wheels just sitting on the floor and they are fine. We scratched the floor slightly moving a heavy object but it is hard to see unless the light hits it just right. This is a solid floor. It has been months now and it is holding up just fine. Plus it is waterproof. Jake and his team did a fine job. They completed all 3 phases and cleaned up nicely. We do have seams at the phase transitions but you won't have them if you complete the work in one phase. There was some chipping at the tile transition to the bathroom but Justin offered to pay to fix it. We just negotiated the price down for phase three. I was able to fix it myself using some supplies from Ace Hardware and a YouTube video."

"Overall, my experience with Stanley Steemer was good. I had a coupon for 20% off the entire job so the price was good. Scheduling was easy on-line. They showed up during the specified window. The technician was very personable. Tried hard to upsell me on Scotchguard protection, etc. He went to work and was quite efficient. He had to redo one area where a spot had not come out but was able to remove it. By evening, a small portion of my bedroom carpet had turned brown. The next day I called the office and they set an appointment for someone to come back out. The appointment was set for 2 days later, which was fine. The technician was unsure of why the brown had occurred, but treated it and recleaned it. It looked okay while it was wet. Later when the carpet dried, the brown came back. I called the office again and they told me that a supervisor would call me back in about 2 days. It shouldn't take 2 days for a supervisor to call a customer back about a problem. I didn't received a call until late in the 2nd day. I was driving and was not able to answer the phone but did call back right away. I got voice mail and left a message. The next day--nothing. I called the supervisor's number and left a message. Day 2--again nothing. I left another message. On day 3 after I hadn't received a call, I called the local number again. The person told me they could have someone come out again with a supervisor--but not for a week because they were "too busy." A company should never be "too busy" to take care of a problem they've caused for a customer. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was transferred to a supervisor. He agreed to come out in 2 days' time. A supervisor did come out, retreated the area and cleaned again and this time the brown has not come back. I was very disappointed in how hard I had to work to get someone to take care of the problem they caused. While they were all very polite, a company should never make a customer wait days and weeks before it gets around to resolving a problem."

"Michelle is the best house cleaner I have ever had! She arrives right when she says she will. She always cleans a few extra things that I don't ask her to - in addition to the things that I do. She is very friendly and professional. She loves to chat and the frequency of her communication is a huge plus! She was also willing to accomodate my cleaning needs and budget . I would recommend Michelle to anyone who is in need of a house cleaner!"

"I was very impressed by the services provided. They arrived on time, were courteous, and asked good questions to make sure they provided me exactly what I wanted and I knew what to expect. They also offered the current promotions without me asking (LOVE), and provided some spot treatment for me to keep with free refills! My carpet and furniture were extremely dirty from age, a toddler, and 2 small dogs. It had an odor and some large stains that I did not expect to come out. They were able to get the stains out, the house smelled great, and the carpet and furniture looked awesome... much better than expected. The price was also very fair - carpet cleaning was a great deal, furniture was a bit more but well worth it. I will use them again and again! <br />"

"They were very careful about knocking the furniture or walls. They came in, went to business, and finished it. I liked how they clean because it didn't take forever for it to dry."

"Mill City Cleaning did a fantastic job cleaning our house. We’ve used other services in the past but we now have a company we will use for a long time. They were on time, thorough and cleaned extremely well. Highly recommended."
