"Terrible company. Do NOT pay for a service contract with them for your home. My HVAC unit broke unexpectedly but due to old age, normal wear and tear from previous homeowners. Usual stuff. I got all the documents needed and sent them over and RWS underpaid my estimate by $7K. Have estimates of over $9K and they sent me a check for $2,144. I live in a very expensive area, you cannot just assume everything costs the same in every area of the country. Oh, and you will waste WEEKS trying to get in touch with someone to get an answer, a response, or some type of resolution. Meanwhile, you are paying them to help you with things like this only to receive less than a third of the cost of what you PAID someone to do. It's not worth it. Data security depends on your provider. It's best to ask your service provider or company for details on how they keep it secure. The most secure form of home automation is a closed, wired system air-gapped from the internet. It would require a hacker to come to your home to steal data physically. If you have concerns, it's worth speaking to a data security specialist before installing a smart home system to take all necessary precautions.
