He came by and diagnosed my problem without charging a service fee. He was very thorough and was not in a rush. His price was fair. He gave his professional opinion and did not try to "sell" me products that were not needed when I inquired about a water softener for my house. Great guys both him and his partner. "They're pretty good. We've always thought that they're reliable, experienced and pretty responsive. They come when you ask them; particularly the guy that worked on our boiler. We got an older boiler and the gentleman is an older guy. We've got a lot of confidence in him. We have a rental property away from our home. He takes care of whatever he's going to take care and let us know what is needed. The price is reasonable. They're second generation plumbers and they really know what they're doing. We go away on long vacations. The boiler was literally frozen for months. They definitely will come when they say they were going to come. We work from home. They're the only ones I would call."

"Our plumber was professional and courteous.  Came on time and we had no problems scheduling a time.  The quality of work appears to be good.  We were surprised, however, when we got the bill.  We had expected a bill of around $350, but got a bill closer to $700.  Upon complaining to the owner, we were given a long description of the cost break-down and this was helpful.   We still feel that the price was high, in relation to the value of what we got (we were looking for low-cost fixes for now, knowing that we were going to do a major kitchen reno in a few years).  So, definitely ask for a price estimate before signing on.   <br /> Part of the high cost was due to materials (which seemed high for what we got) and the fact that the plumber needed an additional supply (for an unexpected item he had to fix upon encountering it).  We thought the time he spent buying the materials should have been discounted, but the company explained that that is his hourly rate regardless.  Again, we understand, but nonetheless, always good to ask for a price estimate ahead of time or before agreeing to extra work encountered unexpectedly.   <br /> <br /> <br />"
