My name is Kevin Hamlin and I started Plumber Near Me LLC in West Columbia 2 years ago. I have been in plumbing for 10 years and enjoy providing services to my clients through a small owner operated business. I provide all plumbing services anything related to water, drain, and gas. Services such as repipes, repaira, drain cleaning water heaters, etc..

"Responded quickly for my plumbing emergency. Gave me a fair quote and didn’t go up on it; he warrants his work for 90 days. Kevin is my plumber for life."

Locally owned and operated since 1999. We are part of a national network of General Contractors, started in 1966 doing insurance restoration - serving property owners by restoring their property to pre-loss condition or better. We strive for minimal disruption and work with owner's insurance company to get payments processed and alleviate some of the headache. We have restored, remodeled, retrofitted numerous commercial and residential properties. Our customers are the best and we love helping them renovate/restore their living space and give them peace of mind that it is done right.

"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE- it's been 2 and a half years and our home is still not finished!!!!!! Poor communication, poor follow-through, poor organization--the owner of this Paul Davis branch caused so much undue stress and out-of-pocket money charges. He looses documents, fails to meet deadlines (told insurance company, mortgage company, and us the job would be done in a year and we are still waiting for it to be done 2 and a half years later). High turn-over is the norm with this branch--we are on our 4th project manager. Things have gone missing in the home, can't provide numbers and spreadsheets documenting costs (only when persistently asked for and having corporate involved does he get one to us), says one thing but then does another. For example, 8 months and running, and they still have not completed painting our house. Many times we agreed on projects and contractors only to turn around and have Paul Davis do something else which always resulted in things going wrong and having to be redone (and costing us out-of-pocket money--for example stairs had to be redone twice because of poor quality and poor oversight for getting someone other than who we agreed on). Custom molding was redone twice after the first time it was done wrong. And many other mistakes which are too exhaustive to list. We had to get corporate involved numerous times and are still waiting for them to help us resolve matters. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! It pains us to have to write such a bad review--but we do not wish anyone else to have to experience what we did (and are still going through)."

14 EMPLOYEES. NO SUBS. COST IS DETERMINED BY THE JOB. NO TRAVEL CHARGES. SERVICE FEES APPLY. EXTRA CHARGE FOR AFTER HOURS SERVICE.

"they installed all new h/vac system, new ductwork, new zoning system. None of it worked properly from the beginning. It's only 2 1/2 years old and we've been without AC 4 different times. Not what you expect when you pay $5,000-$6,000 for new system."

FAQs for steam shower installation projects in Leesville, SC

A steam shower is a regular shower stall outfitted with a steam generator. Push a button, and the generator heats water to create soothing steam, and you’ve got an instant spa at about 110°F. Because it doubles as a standard shower, you don’t need extra square footage—just the right plumbing, a sealed enclosure, and proper ventilation.

Expect to spend roughly $0.50 to $1 on water and electricity for a 20- to 30-minute steam session. Actual costs depend on your local utility rates, but most homeowners find that the increase on their monthly bill is modest, even with regular use. To keep ongoing costs down, look for an energy-efficient generator and ensure your shower is properly sealed to prevent heat loss.

Flush the generator regularly to remove mineral buildup and maintain a steady steam flow. Most models have a drain valve or button—hit it after each session or as the manufacturer recommends. Skipping this essential maintenance step can trigger safety shut-offs or shorten the lifespan of your steam shower.

It’s not uncommon for homeowners to discover mold in their steam showers. Steam equals humidity, and humidity invites mold. Run the bathroom fan during and after each session, crack the door to allow air circulation, and wipe down the walls frequently. If you spot mold, spray undiluted white vinegar, wait an hour, then scrub—it’s an easy, chemical-free fix.
