Today Frankie and his team completed the rest of the roof of the house, replaced the roof with matching shingles on the garage and the shed, and fixed rotted encasing of the chimney with new plywood, making sure it matched the original pattern. They were the most expensive of all the options, but we chose them because we knew exactly what we wanted, and they clearly understood our requirements. The process began with Lois, who was extremely helpful with all the initial paperwork. Then Alyssa took over and was consistently in touch with us—updating us on the schedule and rescheduling as needed due to weather delays. On install day, the crew showed up bright and early at 7 AM—just as promised. They got started right away. All materials and the dumpster had already been delivered days in advance, so there were no delays. They quickly set up tarps around the house and began removing the old shingles and boards—we opted for a full deck replacement. Joe, the project manager, stayed in contact via phone and text, letting me know he’d be arriving a bit later. That wasn’t an issue at all because his foreman, Ivan, had everything well under control. Once Joe arrived, we discussed a few things, and some minor adjustments were made based on my requests. The entire process was smooth—Joe was professional and made sure I was happy with everything. The crew finished around 4 PM, and then spent nearly 90 minutes on cleanup, making sure no nails were left behind—especially on the driveway. "The install crew left staples, roofing nails, and razor blades in my driveway after they left which I had to clean up. The bin or dumpster placed in my driveway had the asphalt scrapped due to one roller not turning freely when picked up after the roof installed. I was hardly able to communicate with the install crew because they barely spoke English. I noticed my leaf filter screen was damaged in two places after they were there. They sent the crew back and I showed them the damage. The crew chief said he would tell his boss but no one ever got back to me. Also, I called the salesman and he never made an effort to get the damage resolved. I also told them to look at the skylights in my sunroom. The crew chief said he caulked around the skylights but when it rained last they were still leaking. I have two pans on the floor in the sunroom to catch any water that drips down."
