"My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. Granite Gold also provides excellent professional support."

"They removed the existing counter top and replaced it with a one piece cultured marble counter. It looks beautiful and was worth the price of $550. They cleaned up after themselves, too. They also have a beautiful showroom, where you can make your choices from many price levels, high to low. There is no pressure to buy a more expensive item. I highly recommend them."

"The company was quick to respond to my request. We set up a time when the flooring guy would come by.  After waiting 30 minutes after the set time, I called and she contacted the guy that was supposed to come by.  He got there in about 30 minutes...so about an hour after the designated time.  That was OK because I was going to be home anyway.  He looked at the job and said they would send an estimate, which I got within minutes.  I thought it was a little high, but really wanted the job done.  I told them if they could come the next day, I would agree.  The next day 4 workers came at the designated time and immediately got to work.  They finished the job the same day.  There are a couple of places that could look better, but they were using my materials, so not sure that was their fault.  The workers were very nice and polite and cleaned up after themselves. <br /> <br /> I would be glad to use this company again for work to be done around the house.  They paint, remodel, do flooring and other things. I'll be sure to call them about my next project."

"Remodeled master bath and added large closet. Subcontractors (Craig Hart Construction) for the construction and plumbing were great. Painting contractor was totally unsatisfactory. Painter arrived without tools or supplies to paint, used incorrect color of paint initially. Had wife with him, failed to ensure that proper are airflow in use when using a toxic undercoating. The plumbers at Reese Plumbing were great even though we uncovered a problem with the sewer line and had to jack hammer half of the foundation to removed bad sewer line. They were easy to work with and the work was great."

In the end, we decided not to repair the countertop and sink but replace it entirely. as the previous owner installed it and it no longer fit our decor. Even though we didn't use them to make the repairs, we were very impressed with their customer service."
