"Excellent, went above and beyond expected. My back yard was a mess: uneven, poorly built fence, lots of debris, water pooling, cracked uneven sidewalk. Patio is beautiful, very helpful in choosing pavers. But he went above the expected and used to extra dirt to even the back yard, lifted the uneven sidewalk, adjusted the fence and even put in a drain to prevent erosion to complete the job. Very professional. Would recommend."

"The whole project went well. I wasn't there when they did the work, but I'm pleased with the results. I was impressed with how upfront Nick was about everything. The price gradually went up as we agreed to ad to the project, but he made sure to update the total of how much it would cost before we agreed to go forward. Before they started on the work, we agreed again what all he would be doing and how much it would cost. Also, the sod he used was a little dis-colored (it was to wet to get newer, greener sod) but he called me during the day to make sure I was OK with it, and to let me know he would replace the sod if it didn't take. I did end up spending more money than I wanted, but am thanking Nick for selling me on sod instead of seed (the dogs would have destroyed the seeded area by now)."

"We have a large patio made of paver bricks.  After having two types of edging that the frost heaved up, we decided to try their curbing.  When Corby  the owner came to give us an estimate, he said they don't normally use the cubing for this, but said it would work since it sits on top of the ground, so the frost won't affect it.  He also said that it would stick up about 2" above the bricks.  We agreed that we could live with that.  We decided to use the mowers edge style of curbing. <br /> The crew was very courteous and worked to ensure the curbing was pushed up against the bricks, as the machine they use can't lay the concrete right up against something.  They did a great job, and cleaned up really good.  <br /> We hope to add more curbing to other areas in the future. <br />"

"It went really well. We found this group on Angie's List, and, in decades of using the List and Unified Neighbors, we have to say that this was the recommendation that worked out the very best. <br /> Chris and Joe, the proprietors and main workers at Green Men Restoration, were thorough, thoughtful, checked at every point with us about choices, punctual (they finished the job a little early, and they had scheduled it very promptly in the first place), and cleaned up at every point. They both work a very full day, starting early and remaining sometimes till sundown. They are both meticulous, making exterior painting seem like a craft. <br /> Both Chris and Joe are pleasant and easy to work with. They explain their recommendations well, while always respecting individual choices. They involved us in every aspect of the job. <br /> Chris is especially knowledgeable about (and licensed to evaluate) EPA issues, so that he was able to evaluate our old paint for lead and take measures to make sure his job did not cause old paint to contaminate our yard or our community. <br /> For the first time, we have had many neighbors come by to tell us how wonderful our home looks. Chris is also an artist, so he uses his painter's eye to choose the best color scheme and remodeling scheme. He also painted our basketball backboard at our request. We now have the only backboard that we know of with an abstract expressionist design. We couldn't be happier."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Lewisville, IN

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
