I logged in to Angie's List and set the Search to look for an A-rated plumber who was close by. Handyman Barrett popped up at the top, so I called him. He recommended 3 different manufacturers that, in his experience, are the best. He even offered me advice over the phone about installing them in case I decided to go ahead and do it myself. Ha! Not a chance! I found and purchased one of his recommendations at a local chain hardware store and contacted Handyman Barrett for an appointment. He scheduled me for 9am on Christmas Eve. He showed up right on time and was done in under an hour and a half. He would have been done sooner, but he took the extra time and elbow grease to remove the water stain buildup from our stainless steel sink after removing the old leaky faucet. Bravo! After he was done, he showed me where the battery pack was and what to do if one of the new check valves tripped. He then demonstrated the features of the new faucet and showed us how to fill the new built-in soap dispenser. Before he left, he also pointed out a developing leak under the sink at the dishwasher drain and how to fix it. I would have let him go ahead and fix it, but he didn't have the needed part on his truck. That's perfectly understandable. Phil "Handyman" Barrett was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
