"Barry and his son came to my house on a Saturday to look at my clogged drain outside of my basement. He stayed for about an hour assessed the problem and attempted to correct it. "I purchased the Big Deal for AABCO's installation of a new garbage disposal, testing/inspecting the drain line for obstructions, and an impressive warranty (5 yrs/2 yrs parts and labor) on the new disposal unit. Upon contacting AABCO on a Friday afternoon, inquiring about when someone might be able to come out and replace the disposal unit (having mentioned that the kitchen sink wasn't draining properly either - perhaps due to the utterly dead unit, or perhaps another issue), Mr. Gaskins promptly offered me a 9 am appt. the next morning - a Saturday, at no extra charge!
Mr. Gaskins was prompt, thoroughly professional, clearly experienced, and most gracious. He quickly and efficiently removed the old unit, inspected the drain line for any other obstructions, and quickly determined that the rusted unit was the sole reason for the slow drain. Then, despite very little room to maneuver under the kitchen sink cabinet (and very tight pipe connections), he expertly installed the new unit, tested it to make sure it was working properly, and even stayed a few more minutes to make sure that the drain was draining properly after I started the dishwasher. Thanks to his coming to the job well-prepared for any possible complications, he was able to quickly replace a worn, tight plastic connection that snapped (during installation), with a new piece that he had stocked on his truck - and most graciously replaced it free of charge. He took great care to ensure my home stayed clean at literally every step - donning shoe covers at the entryway, bringing towels and a bucket with him to catch any drips, and taking the old disposal unit away with him when he left. Mr. Gaskins was utterly professional, personable, honest, and gracious. I would gladly call him again for any plumbing needs that may arise in the future. I have already recommended him to my neighbors!

"It went extremely well! They were punctual, hardworking and professional. It was necessary to dig up my neighbor's landscaping, so they were very careful to disturb only what was necessary and to restore everything to its original condition. They even replaced her broken underground downspout extension (which was draining into my basement!) without comment or additional charge. When my neighbor accused them of causing a problem, MJ was quick to respond and the team on-site made a point of apologizing to her in person. I don't think MJ caused the problem, so I was very impressed that they "went high" to investigate the matter and, as I said, apologize for the inconvenience she felt she suffered. "We've used Constantly Running for plumbing issues such as fixture replacements and pipe leaks and have been very satisfied with work performed by James Russell, proprietor, and his staff.  We'd had them out to install a new garbage disposal and snake a slow bathtub drain.  While cleaning out the drain James discovered that there was a small hole in the drain pipe that had been covered by accumulations of debris that once removed, allowed water to drain through the hole onto the ceiling of the room below.  In conversations about the state of the bathroom in general, we'd mentioned that it was our intention at some point to have the bathroom renovated. They had to return to replace the defective portion of drain pipe and repair the ceiling of the room below and while they were working, James offered to renovate the bathroom at a price that sounded eminently reasonable.  I wasn't aware that this was a service he offered, but since we've always been impressed with his work, we decided to go ahead with the project.  At first glance if looked straight-forward, in term of removing old wall and floor tile and replacing it, as well as the tub enclosure and the vanity.  It turned out to be a larger project, as the all the walls and flooring need to be taken down to the wood frame.  The walls and flooring were replaced, and new tiles, fixtures and paint that we had chosen and purchased were installed.  The craftmanship was exemplary.  James and his staff were totally competent, eminently courteous and friendly, and the job was done in a timely manner.  The renovation turned out better than we had ever thought possible, and we are very happy to have been able to work with him, and hope to do so again with another bathroom.

"Our sump pump stopped working unexpectedly on Saturday, February 10 so I called Jerry's knowing they have 24 hour emergency service and our first experience with Jerry's was very positive. Due to the fact that it was raining all day and would be into the weekend, there was no time to contact my home warranty company. When I called (late Saturday afternoon), Jerry answered the phone and had his on-call technician get in touch with me immediately. Steve, the on-call technician, arrived within the hour. He assessed the situation and confirmed that our sump pump had to be replaced. Steve was polite, thorough and professional. He cleaned the interior of our sump pump and installed a new product that was clearly much higher quality than the previous one. So, all in all a second very positive experience which prevented our basement from flooding. Thank you Jerry's. We'll be back."
