"Allied helped us out with replacing our sidewalk with brushed concrete, and putting in pavers for our walkway and patio. The results are better than we expected! Matt and Noah were a pleasure to work with, and we were thankful they could continue to safely work during the pandemic. Would definitely recommend them to anyone else looking to do the same kind of work we did!"

"The existing deck had mostly curved edges and was bordered with flower beds. The middle level was a curved walkway that connected our existing patio with a path leading to the side of the house. Our request was to remove this deck and replace it with a two level brick patio that would be shaped like the deck. I made the mistake of assuming that this was communicated to those doing the actual construction. Several of what should have been rounded edges were squared and the edge of the top level that replaced the original walkway was poorly positioned so that was too narrow where it met the existing patio. This was 'fixed' with an improvised jag in the edge of this level, so we lost the smooth arc of the original deck (see attached pictures). Additionally, the edge of the patio that should have been parallel to the house was skewed so that it was 13 inches closer to the house on one end vs the other. My low grade for professionalism is mainly for their lack of pre-planning the overall project and conferring with me before they began (in retrospect, I should have insisted on that) and for the way they treated our yard. We have a creek behind us and they used it as a garbage dump for pieces of cut brick, soft drink cans, and plastic water bottles. Additionally, they left pieces of crushed concrete base in the flower beds, and left stains on our existing patio from spilled concrete mix."

"We asked Kirsch Landscaping to look at our yard and provide ideas. Originally, we were prepared to extend our patio all the way out and create a large seating/entertaining area under the trees. Ken came out and patiently listened to our desires of wanting to create a backyard retreat that was livable, LOW maintenance and wasn't going to cost an arm/leg or at least not require replanting again and again. I think he must have spent at least 60-90 minutes just talking with us, getting to know us and how we wanted to use the yard. About half-way through our conversation, Ken suggested using turf grass, I originally balked. (Thoughts of putt putt greens and cheesy looks came to mind.) My husband thought it might be a good option and was definitely going to be less expensive than our original idea...so I agreed to at least go walk on the product at their shop. Stepping onto the grass with bare feet was a real treat and when Ken shared how easy the maintenance would be, I decided to go ahead and try. Kirsch Landscaping put in a French drainage system, put in the turf and then helped build up existing beds with moss rocks to create our backyard retreat. I was impressed with the aesthetics from the start. Three days later the yard was given a test and I experienced just how impressive this product is! The workers left two days before I had a backyard party planned for a large group of kids. Of course I had planned outside activities! However, the morning of the party, it poured rain and I was sure I would have to make alternate plans for the kids. But I was wrong! The rain stopped at 2 pm. At 5:30pm when the children arrived...they were able to play every game we had planned without any mess, mud or wet grass! The drainage system was amazing. The yard is now three years old. It has held up in all kinds of weather, handled the hard play of dogs, kids and grandkids. However, perhaps the greatest test to the drainage system and how well the yard holds up was last August when our community got hit by Hurricane Harvey. On August 28th -- we had almost 14 inches of rain dumped on us in one day. Without the backyard and the drainage system that Kirsch had installed, we would have had a full blown lake as many of our neighbors did. While we were in the worst of the storm, our yard was able to take on massive amounts of water and recover within 20-30 minutes. Thank you Kirsch!"

"We are very pleased with the workmanship and service provided by Paver Connection and highly recommend them. In particular, John who checked the work we needed done and provided us with a very reasonable estimate of cost and time required for the job. Josh, who oversaw our project was wonderful about explaining what would be done as well as answering all our questions. The workmen were polite and professional and did a super job. Finally, Ann Carpenter kept in touch with us so we always knew exactly when to expect the crew. This was our second experience with Paver Connection and we could not be more please. If you need pavers or paver work, call them. You will not be sorry."

"I have used Waterwise Irrigation several times, including having them install a sprinkler system in my large side yard.  I can always count on them to do the job right.  I usually have them out once a year to check my system and do any fine tuning it might need. <br />"

"Frank is great. He and his crew did a great job prepping and replacing sod for entire yard. Frank is very knowledgeable about sprinkler systems and was able to work with my older system to make it much more water efficient without breaking the bank. Very responsive with following up to make minor adjustments. Very pleased!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Liberty, TX

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
