"Don Champion is one of the most qualified and pleasant contractors I have ever worked with. His crew is a well-oiled machine that works as if in a ballet. Everyone knew their jobs and payed attention to detail. Quality was a priority and it was clear that nothing was overlooked. When unpredictable problems occurred, they were taken care of without a problem. The final project was the Mona Lisa of driveways. Finally, the pricing was totally fair. I recommend Champion Paving without reservation."

"Al Pittore and crew did a phenomenal job. First they edged the driveway on all sides. They then removed all debris such as leaves, twigs, and acorns with a gas powered blower. Finally, in preparation they scoured the entire surface with brushes to remove any left over contaminates. They then taped areas around the brick walkway and stone wall to prevent any spill over. Lastly, they applied a commercial grade sealcoating. I'm extremely pleased with the outcome. They were professional, courteous, on time and competitively priced. I highly recommend them and will use them again when the opportunity arises."

"I recently hired A Plus Paving to extend and seal my driveway, and I'm very satisfied with the results. The team was professional throughout the entire process and delivered exactly what they promised. The driveway extension work was done expertly - it blends seamlessly with my existing driveway and looks fantastic. The sealing job also came out great and has given my driveway a fresh, well-maintained appearance. The crew was reliable, completed the work in a timely manner, and left the area clean when finished. Their communication was clear from start to finish, and the final result exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend A Plus Paving to anyone looking for quality driveway work. Very satisfied with their service!"

"It went splendidly. They removed the existing asphalt an added gravel and compacted it all. Then they put 2 1/2" of new asphalt down and rolled that, the a smooth coat and rolled that. The removal went smoothly, the new pavement went really well and they also graded the side of my lawn to meet the pavement at a much better angle, fixing the old joining of lawn to driveway which had been awkward and difficult to mow. The new grass they planted came up beautifully and I tell, you, you never would have known they'd been there but for the new asphalt. They cleaned up beautifully, had enough knowledgeable guys on the job at any time during the processes of removal, repaving and repairing the lawn. They were all pleasant to speak with and have around and I would hire them again in a heartbeat, and recommend them just as quickly."

"Richard and his team did an amazing job. I heard about them via referral and Richard called me back the same day I called them to inquire about getting my driveway done. He came out to the location the same day, and I got a quote right away. Him and his team was timely, and took great care in ensuring they have clean lines, proper grading etc. they will be coming back to seal cost once my driveway is cured. Very happy overall and would recommend them to anyone!"

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Lincoln, NH

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
