"He originally came out for a minor "roof tune-up", but let me know that our roof was installed improperly a few years ago (different company), which is why all the shingles are falling off, and that we would definitely need more than a tune-up. He gave me a great estimate on replacing our roof as well as a big balcony we have. While he was here, he replaced all the shingles that had fallen off, and repaired some problem areas that he was concerned might leak soon. He was then nice enough to take the time to teach me how I could repair shingles that have fallen off until we are ready to get the entire roof replaced. He did all of this, free of charge!!!
I must have had extremely bad luck with contractors in the past, because I usually walk away feeling cheated. But this was by far my best experience with any contractor ever, and it left me feeling satisfied that someone was friendly, passionate about their job, knew what he was doing, and that he was absolutely fair with the estimates he gave me.  I also still cannot believe he took the time to teach me what he did! This experience was extremely pleasant, informative, and did I mention, he didn't even charge me for the many things he did! I highly recommend JPR as I will be using them for everything in the future!

"Mr. Reynolds came out the SAME DAY that I called, a Saturday.  It was a day of heavy rain and flooding (and therefore the leaks in the roof revealed themselves).  He had to drive far out of his way to get to me because of the flooding in his rural area, but he made it.  I was very grateful because my home was on the market, and I was fretting over the time and cost of roof repairs.  Mr. Reynolds checked out the roof and gave me a reasonable estimate that day; he honored the Angie's List coupon I had.  
I owned half a duplex, and he looked at my neighbors' side as well.  Their side also had soil pipes that needed to be replaced.  The neighbors half was also on the market.  Mr. Reynolds felt an inspector would cite the need for repairs.  I was able to let my neighbor know of the situation so he could check for leaks and not have an unpleasant surprise in his house during showings.
The repairs were completed a few days later.  PSR made the extremely inconvenient and untimely situation as painless as possible.

In late December of 2013, there was a leak that had appeared in a complicated valley. The 12/12 pitch roof drains down to a wall of siding. I came home to see Ice running down the wall of my front porch and found ice in the attic at that valley. I immediately called Don Jordan and told him the bad news. He came out within the hour and looked at the damage. Within a day or two, once the area had thawed, he sent someone out to see if an immediate repair could be made. That repairman did not find a leak and said that some roofs are just meant to leak, to which I immediately disagreed. The repairman relayed his findings to Don. Don called and told me that he did not agree with the repairman, and that roofs are not meant to leak. Don said he would do a free replacement when it got warmer. I noticed that it did not leak when it rained, but only when there was snow in the valley. I mentioned this to Don and he noted that it was probably an issue with the ice and water shield. As it got warmer outside, he followed up with me a couple of times to find out if it was leaking. Since it only leaked after the one heavy snow, I was willing to work around Don's other jobs. He let me know a couple of times that he had not forgotten about me and assured that he would take care of it before it got cold again. In mid September, Don sent out his repair expert to make sure the valley did not leak again. Don's repair expert, José, was able to confidently identify what was causing the leak and repair the valley properly. I had previously worked with Don and José back in 2010 for a repair on this same valley that had held up to rain and heavy snow, prior to hail tearing up the entire roof in 2011. After the first repair had held, I knew that José would do a great job. He meticulously repaired/replaced the valley and within 6 hours. Don and José were professional and cleaned up after the repair. There were 3.5 bundles of unused shingles left over from the project that I offered to buy from Jordan Roofing to have on hand the event that the Flagstone color scheme would be discontinued. Don gave me the extra shingles that as a thank you for being flexible with the timing of the free repair.

"Project went great.  Contractor built a high quality scaffold to reach the chimney and performed the work in 2 days.  The 1st day allowed for the primer and the scratch coat to be installed and the second day allowed for the finish coat.  I asked the contractor to price re-painting the chimney, but his price was too high for me.  However he did offer to allow me to utilize his scaffold to paint it myself.  I appreciated this gesture.  
I have used other stucco contractors in the past and their work failed several years down the road.  Jim Spears Plastering is the only stucco contractor I will use going forward.  Highly recommend this contractor.

"Roofing Service Specialist LLC did a great job for us. Bill Scott the owner came out personally to talk to me about possible solutions for replacing the down spout. I had called five different companies and all but Roofing Service Specialist LLC treated me as if my job was too small for them to even bother with or quoted me and obscene minimum of 350.00 for the job.  Mr. Scott came up with a solution that allowed us to re-use the existing down spout and cost us less than half of what the other companies wanted to charge. He was friendly and honest and made me feel like he cared about my job, even though it was small. I will use Roofing Service Specialist LLC in the future and would recommend them to anyone. I've already recommended them to my brother and his wife.
