"We got 3 estimates as recommended by our landscape person. Based on the prompt, friendly response when I e-mailed Trevor at Graley, the ease of dealing with him in discussing our project when he came out and his reasonable price quote, we felt very confident in going with the company. . Trevor gave us a time frame and he and his crew came when they said they would. They were very nice guys, courteous and such hard workers! We had a landscape plan with a free form patio. One of the bidders said we would have to lay out where we wanted the patio even though we had a scale drawing. Graley spent time using the drawing to lay out the patio, consulting us as to what we thought and doing a superb job of laying out the curving sidewalk and patio exactly as the drawing showed. I wanted the mulch area between the sidewalk and patio a little wider and they were very obliging in adjusting the space. We were very pleased with the way they stamped the flagstone pattern and were able to make the patio color so it wasn't a solid color but making it look more like stone. They also used their bobcat to grade the limestone in our driveway so it was level with the new concrete pad and transitioned nicely between the two areas. They did a very nice job of cleaning up the area and we couldn't be more pleased with the finished project and the way the job was done. "The process went quickly with detail showed in every step of the process. We asked and hoped that the raising would not cause the opposite end of the sidewalk to be raised above the point where it meets the driveway. There was no guarantee it would be that way, but they worked hard to make it level and safe.  For the sidewalk to be raised 2", we didn't want a stumble step to be created and be 2" above the driveway. They were able to raise it and leave a pitch so the water would drain properly and both ends of the sidewalk were right on. <br /> This process creates an huge mess. They cleaned everything and even filled the part of the garden next to the sidewalk with some black dirt. They were prepared to handle everything and make it right. <br />"

"This was the second large project we hired Paul Klingbeil to complete in our home and we couldn't be happier. Paul is someone you can trust to get the job done right. In 2019 we tore down our old deck and had a major landscaping facelift conducted on our back yard including a new patio off our basement walkout. We planned for the new patio to be installed in 2019 and for Paul to build the deck in 2020. Paul and team worked closely with our Landscaper to install the deck footings and plan for the deck stairs landing in 2019. Paul and team returned in April 2020 to install the new deck. They were very efficient in completing it and when I noticed one very small detail that didn't look right, Paul's team came out the very next day and fixed it. "It was in two stages. They put the patio in back and then did some landscaping in the front. The services were excellent. They draw up all the designs right there. They will give you a 3D rendering of it, of the design first. When they put it in, it was pretty amazing how fast this guy worked. He had to move a lot of dirt and he was done in 2 or 3 days. Their price is probably a little bit high. He is very responsive. A year later I had some problems and he came right out and fixed it."

"It went great‼️ The steps were torn completely out … replaced with pressure-treated lumber. They were reinforced with two extra supports, 2x6 boards were used for handrails to improve functionality. All in all, we have sturdy and great looking back steps! ??"

"Chris & his crew arrived on time, they had to remove the existing tree, plant the new tree and create a stone tree well around the nw tree.  It turned out just like we wanted.  They also installed some small shrubs for us to improve the overall appearance of our backyard.  We love it and get compliments on it all the time. <br /> Previous to doing this work for us, Chris & his team installed a paved patio and sidewalk in our backyard that we love.  That's why we knew we needed to go to him when we had this job come up.   <br /> We highly recommend this company for anyone who needs pavers, stone work or landscaping done.  They are reliable and do beautiful work! <br />"

"Mike and his team were amazingly responsive and professional.  He took time to personally make several visits to our home and made himself available for questions.  He helped us work with our insurance company and even made it a point to be on site during the inspection.  Their prices were more than competitive.  We had had several other groups (storm chasers) come by and their quotes were easily 20-30% more than Over Under Construction.  The work was performed timely and they took the time to ask us about our children's nap schedules so they could work around them.  A very nice personal touch.  Mike also took the time to stop by several times during the work to ensure it was being done properly by the crew.  We would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking to do a home project of any size. <br />"

"We had a mixed experience with Norsk Concrete. The work they did was good quality, and done efficiently. They didn't clean up after themselves very well, but the main problem was that poor communication resulted in some of the expected work not being done, and we were not able resolve this with Norsk afterwards. After the work was scheduled, Randy and I were not able to connect before he began the job. I left him a message the evening before, and when his team arrived before him that morning, I asked them to have him call me when he arrived. He never called, and by the time I was able to speak with him, the work was halfway done - excluding a small portion of sidewalk whose replacement I believed was included in our quote. The quote we received was mostly a list of measurements without much description - I had walked Randy through the backyard, explaining what we needed done - so it was difficult for us to know that it had been skipped. Randy said it was too late to complete this disputed section that day, but that when he and his team were back in the neighborhood they could come back and finish it. Based on this I expected to hear back from him within a couple of weeks. The Norsk team did not fully clean-up after themselves (they left several chunks of old concrete for us to haul away ourselves), and left a 4-inch gap between the un-replaced sidewalk and section they did replace (see photo0. All of this suggested they would be back soon. They did not return, and we did not hear from them. We called the Norsk office after a couple of weeks to check in on when they might return. We received no response from Randy. Since then, we’ve called the office multiple times and been told multiple times that Randy will call us back, but he never has. We've made it clear that we will of course pay for the additional concrete, we just want some idea of when they will return. The last time we called, we were told that Randy is “irritated” with us, despite never actually speaking to us himself. Because Randy was not willing to spend much time talking to me on the job site, and was never willing to talk to us on the phone, we continue to have a misunderstanding about what our expectations were for the job and what was delivered. Better communication from the beginning would have gone a long way, but the refusal to work with us to resolve the issue is the real problem. Update: Due to some ponding on the concrete they put in, Norsk came back to replace that section, and completed the originally missed segment of concrete for an additional $300, which we felt was fair. While we still wish Norsk had been more communicative throughout this process which would have helped alleviate the confusion, we appreciate they returned to correct an issue with the concrete.
